Ever since I started working in Cortland, I've heard rave reviews about CoffeeMania. But the lines were always long, until today -- I was on a later schedule so I finally had a chance to stop in. First, when you order, be sure to specify hot or cold coffee -- for some reason, my simply asking for a "large coffee" resulted in being given an iced coffee. They quickly corrected the order, but I noticed the iced coffee costs more than hot coffee... no idea if I was overcharged since I wasn't offered a receipt and I had also ordered a pastry, for which prices were not posted. OK, so mistakes happen -- why a 2-star review? I wasn't crazy about the taste of the coffee. And as I got down to the last "2 fingers" of coffee in the cup, I was greeted by a mouthful of coffee grounds, right in the middle of a video call with a co-worker in a different city. Yuck!
