I was enjoying the day at the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival. I do love supporting local businesses, which is exactly what I got to do during the festival, where I tried out their specialty food. But I was very disappointed with how rude one of the workers was here. I had walked back in with a friend who needed to use the restroom but also wanted to check out the place. While my friend's wife was using the restroom, I overheard the conversation between her husband and the staff while the staff was putting some tables away. I will admit we did stand in the way a little and did apologize. During that time, my friend's husband asked if he needed help with the table. The gentleman replied back stating no, that he looked like he needed help in life. After everything was said and done, we left and there was know issue. The food is prepared fresh and with love, offering a quality and varied menu that has not been seen in Downtown Gloversville for quite some time. They offer hearty bowls, sandwiches, wraps (I had the tuna poké wrap, which came with sides of spicy quick pickles and an absolutely delicious and unique cold and creamy apple, fruit, and cheese salad), soups, coffee, and more. We have been waiting for a spot like this in Gloversville for sometime, and Sage and Cedar firmly delivers and has effectively heralded in Gloversville's Main Street...
Read moreMy co-worker and I have spent every single opportunity we have had at Sage & Cedar sense their Grand Opening. We have the pleasure of working at CAPTAIN a block away so we choose to spend our lunch there everyday. The food is amazing, the portions are great, prices are wonderful, and whoever did the interior design of this place, KUDOS to them. The place is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant offers soft lighting, calming music, beautiful seating, unique decor, etc. It feels calm and cozy. They have very aesthetic, outdoor seating, and a back entrance. The employees are seriously the sweetest and nicest human beings. I can't praise the restaurant and their employees enough let alone the wonderful food they offer. It is becoming a staple...
