I had the absolutely worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant today, period. While the other staff members were extremely friendly, our waiter Matthew was not only miserable, but downright hateful toward us. The service was slow to start. People that came in 10 minutes after us had their drinks + their main meals before we saw anything, but we didn't once complain about that.
The issues started whenever we tried to ask him for anything other than our meals. I tried 3 separate times to ask for something when he came to the table, but he kept literally sprinting away from us to avoid it. We even had to ask another waiter for ketchup, which we'd already asked him for. Again, not a big deal.
Finally, I got his attention. He'd not told us his name let alone one of the featured drinks, so I very calmly asked if we qualified for what it said on the table card (you get a drink free if they're not mentioned). He proceeds to tell me (in a very nasty tone) that no, he did ask if we wanted strawberry lemonade, so again, no. I try to say okay, but we'd been waiting to say this to him since he walked away, so we didn't think that was the case. He proceeded to raise his hand up into my face and literally RUN AWAY without saying anything else. I asked for a manager (I'm not sure this even was a manager, but it could have been).
The manager apologized and offered a featured drink for free, since that's the policy. I said that was fine but asked that we have another waiter/waitress, which he couldn't do, but we said it's fine since we probably wouldn't need anything else. The actual waiter we had didn't say sorry once. We saw him twice after that. Once when he returned to the table and THREW our check down before sprinting wordlessly away, and another where we HAD to check out with him at the bar and he again THREW our credit card back at us.
Also, he was being EXTRA friendly to the other tables around us, which felt almost out of spite considering what happened.
The manager ended up comping my drink instead of bringing me a new one, but didn't tell me that in person, nor did we see him again. I like to think that I'm an extremely nice person, so to say that I was shocked by all of this is an understatement. My hands were...

Got sat right away in an empty section... 5-10 minutes go by when this RUDE waitress (Jane) popped by to ask “whaddya want to drink?” And to inform us our waitress would be over. No spiel on drink specials... nothing. Just... “whaddya want?” About ten minutes later some other random chick brings a Mountain Dew but not my drink. “It’ll be a minute.” It’s already been TEN!!! Finally Jasmine comes strolling over with my drink and takes our order. So... we’re already 15-20 minutes in with just drinks. Whatever. Our apps come out... mozz stix.... cold and awful along with no napkins or silverware. WTF! Finally Jasmine appears with napkins and two dirty forks. Lovely. Doesn’t seem to care about the cold, undercooked mozz stix. Food arrives... fine. Order another perfect margarita with patron (a $9 drink) and proceed to wait 15 mins while we watch it sit at the bar!!!!! Finally we watch the bar tender tell someone to run it and another random server brings it over. We ask clueless Jasmine for a box... another 10 minute wait. She sees a full plate of food and brings a box that would fit a dessert. Did I mention she’s clueless? Whatever. Drops the check. Now being a former restaurant manager and dining with my friend who is a current server.... we were both appalled at the service to say the least. Neither of us are rude or overly demanding. But dang... there was ZERO customer service skills and WHY are they vacuuming while people are dining?!? The management should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves. We even had a random waitress bring food to our table and I had to tell her “wrong table”. And she walked around “offering” it to other tables. What a JOKE!!! No wonder this place is always hiring. We were seated by a sweet hostess named Kaylee then we waited 20 minutes to a half hour for our waitress to come up and ask us if we would like any drinks we ordered two sodas it would take about 5 minutes to bring them with no sauce she took her order for we got the two for 26 we got we chose the two salads we both chose house addressing we went on to order the 8 oz steak for the two for 26th I already running he ordered french fries we are both ordered medium mistakes were both well done the onion rings were cold when we received our salads we literally sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a waitress or someone to come back up and ask us if we would like silverware to eat we waited after we finished our meal for the waitress to come back so we could ask if we could have dessert we were then charged separately after we ordered on the 2 for 26th full price for both desserts which I believe was 699 or 899 we had the brownie dessert then we sat there and we waited a good 15 more minutes at least to get a check so that we can pay and leave unsatisfied I see no management I seen all the other waiters and waitresses during a great job but I don't understand why we were having such a difficult time so as far as I feel is the food really wasn't very good and neither was the service.. our order came to almost $60 from a 2 for 29 meal we ended up paying almost $60 I think that's kind of ridiculous I will be...
