Revising my original 5 star review to a 2 star. I order from this place usually 1-2 times a week. Today I ordered a dozen hot wings, antipasto and a large turkey and bacon grinder. The girl that answered the phone (Believe her name was Gabby?) was clearly in La La Land when taking my order. I had to tell her twice no onions on the grinder. May I add that I also had to repeat twice that I wanted bacon on it as well. After reading my order back to me to make sure everything was correct she told me it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I arrive to pick up my order and notice my antipasto was never placed on the order. She tried to make me seem like the one who was wrong when she clearly failed to write it down for the chef. Funny part was she expected me to pay for and sit and wait for one to be made. HAHA! sorry but if I wanted to sit and wait for my food I would have dined in. I don't have time to sit and wait for something that should have been ready the first time. It was honestly the first time I've ever seen her working behind the counter so she must be new or not work a lot. And if she isn't new she needs to be trained a little better on taking phone orders and handling these kind of issues when they happen. Absolutely no compensation for the inability to do her job. I know my 1-2 orders don't mean much and you will survive without them. But after the few mistakes you've guys made you have always failed at making it right. Needless to say that may have been my last order...
Read moreIt was another Tuesday and we were not in the mood to cook and as usual every place you wanted to eat at was closed. We had not been to Romana’s in a year or so and that was a shame because I wish I ate this dish yesterday. She had the Eggplant Parmigiana and I had the Chicken Mediterranean. Her Eggplant dish was very organized and plentiful with nice breading and sauce that tasted wonderful with a bit more finesse and flavor than you would normally expect. You will probably be bringing half home for another delight later. I was going to get the chicken Mediterranean salad and the waitress thought I meant the dinner so I corrected her and she then described the dinner dish and I switched my mind from the dinner salad to this dinner dish. Hands down it is 1 of the very top and best dishes that I have ever had. It Melted in my mouth with an explosion of lemony butter and a hint of white wine which enticed my pallet over and over. Just look at the pictures! I had intended to eat half which in reality you could have eaten a quarter but no way! It was magnificent and cosmic with explosions of well developed textures and flavors. The price is not to be looked at because they could charge more and you would still say wow! this is a lot for the money. Thank you for reading and remember, tell them “some...
Read moreOverall I cannot wait to come back to eat here. This is a normal American Italian restaurant that knows its business. I was greeted very warmly this evening, the hostess was extremely personable and charismatic. An instant friend and talked to me in a most encouraging way. She seated me and the waitress came over very quickly for the volume of people there were in there. I got a homemade iced tea with slice of lemon. Fresh, cold and clear. She recommended the Eggplant Parm or, with more vigor, the stuffed Eggplant Parm. I asked for the Italian Casserole with angel hair pasta. Salad with homemade Italian came with green peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and black olives. The garlic knots were sublime swimming in a pool of lightly-herbed garlic butter and Parmesan. They came with a nice amount of red sauce. Truly a a wonderful meal. Cannot wait to go back. Oh and don’t make the owner mad and say crappy things about this place and then try to advertise because they will cut you out of the placemat and have no qualms whatsoever. And I am here for it!...
