Let's start off by saying that the waitress, Coleen, was fantastic. She was very friendly and polite. So I gave service 5/5 because of her. Atmosphere I gave a 3/5 because the walls were dirty and there were cracks in certain places. The art on the wall was really nice to look at, but the dirt on the walls was a distraction from the beautiful art. The ice machine was very loud and sounded like a toilet flushing. It's right where you're eating, so it's hard to ignore it. As for the food. My wife and I ordered 2~2~2 (she had pancakes and I had french toast) with bacon and a side of sausage patties. The sausage patties tasted exactly like the ones you get from the frozen box at your local supermarket. I paid $4.25 for the side of sausage patties that came with 2 of them. Wasn't worth it. The bacon was very crispy and very thin. It was way too crispy that you couldn't even taste the flavor of bacon. The eggs were great. They tasted fresh and homemade. Both the pancakes and the French toast tasted extremely sweet before even putting on the syrup. The orange juice tasted very concentrated, like one you'd get from the hospital. Personally, I wouldn't go here again. This can be someone's type of forte, but it just wasn't mine.

If you're looking for a homey, downtown, old-school kind of place, Tom's Diner fits the bill. They offer the usual diner fair: eggs, pancakes, coffee, clubs, at great prices. In terms of taste, I wouldn't say it's groundbreaking - it's diner food. You come here for a cup of coffee to wake you up in the morning, not something sourced from Arabia. The interior design takes you back to when Lockport had a roaring Main Street, featuring long-gone business murals painted along the walls. I would recommend Tom's to anyone searching for a place to reminisce while also getting a good bite to eat.

Great family diner. Only open for breakfast and lunch but breakfast is served all day long. When COVID started and my special needs son couldn't go to school, we had to find a new daily routine. Tom's Diner became our place to go. The staff are amazing and welcomed my son like family. Taking time to chat with him, to read books with him and to just make sure he had a smile on his face every time. We don't go as often as we used to but every time I ask where he wants to grab breakfast, this is his place of choice. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Ignore any negative reviews, this place is awesome. It is like stepping back in time into a little diner. its not pretentious or uppity, you aren't going to find super fancy food here. What you will find are good honest working people, friendly service and amazing food with huge servings. My husband ordered toms super breakfast and just looking at the amount of food he got made me a little ill, I got a omelet which came with toast and so many home fries . I think I finished only about half. My son had a pancake and slice of bacon which came out warm but not too hot for him to eat right away for which I am thankful. All of this for $30 (we also had a soda and coffee). The owners are family (my Aunt and Uncle. However it doesn't make me biased, if the food sucked I would say so) and are amazing people, which makes me even happier to...

I’m not understanding the good reviews. I walked in and sat down today. Got dirty looks from the big lady rolling silverware 2 seconds into looking up. The waitress finally saw me ...huffs loudly, walks to the silverware brings ONE menu when there was two of us and says ā€œwhat do you want to drinkā€ in the rudest monotone voice ever. I asked what products she had she points with sarcasm says ā€œit’s right thereā€ ... we walked out before we even ordered drinks. I’ll never come back. I don’t appreciate the attitude. Maybe she assumed I was not going to tip well but I’m not amused in the slightest. There’s a first time for everything and this is definitely the first time I’ve walked out before ordering anything. Hire new waitresses. Preferably professionals. They make your diner look like white...
