Kokum Grill & Wok — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Unfortunately I have to leave this bad review. I ordered food today, and it was ordered on Uber eats and was set to arrive at 12:20 PM and at the latest 12:40 PM, 12:40 PM because this restaurant does not use Uber eats couriers. The link texted to my phone goes to the uber eats app as well which then tells you I had to call them directly. Since I’m unable to track the order or call the courier, I called the restaurant and they told me that they are 10 minutes away and I told him my lunch hours you know coming to an end and it’s not here and they said they understand. So I hang up with them and then another minute go by and I still have no food. So I called the restaurant and he said he knows that they’re on the way but they might be traffic or something. Hang up with him and I called Uber Eats directly because it’s well over the time that I should have received my food and I asked the order to be canceled because now it is 12:55 PM. I ended up leaving work and having to go get fast food down the road while I am there I got a text from DoorDash saying that my food was on the way and then I got more text that were in French so I immediately thought it was a scam or spam. That number started calling me coming up as DoorDash. I ignored it because I didn’t order anything from DoorDash. And now I’m pulling up to work. And I get a text from the same number again and I can only make out the word reception. As I am walking into the building, I see two gentlemen on a scooter and I assumed that was probably them. I walked to the reception desk and ask them was that food for me that these guys dropped off and they told me yeah and the guys didn’t speak any English. The last call from the DoorDash number was at 1:30 PM. So now it’s a couple minutes after 1:30 PM that I’m actually getting my order when I ordered it before 12 o’clock. I didn’t eat the food until I had already got the fast food. It’s unfortunate because the food is actually good, but if you were going to order from this place, I would advise pick up your order...

I had the pleasure of dining at Kokum Grill & Wok on [insert date], and it was a delightful experience. Located at 2 Eastchester Rd in New Rochelle, NY, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in many ways.

I saw many good reviews and ordered food but i never got it. First day i ordered food from uber eats but after ordering it says that the food will be delivered by the restaurant waited for 2 hours but still i haven’t got the food i called them and they said the food was already delivered and it’s in the reception. But nothing was there. i called them and one staff was very rude to me.The next day the restaurant people called and apologised to me and they said they will give me free food sir. i said i don’t want anything but still they continuously called me and i agreed. The next day also i didnt receive anything and you can see the photos that the he has food to some other location. i specially mentioned the address that i stay in a hotel gave the correct address but still they delivered to some other house after 2 hours as you can see the time they took the order and after 1 hour they delivered to some other house my hotel was just 15min away. so twice i got fooled. The food might be good because so many good reviews are there. But need to improve...
