Leo's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Alright, hear me out. The picture I posted? Yeah, I ordered two salmons. Not because I was starving… but because it was that good. I’m telling you, this was the best salmon I’ve ever had in my life. And I’ve eaten everywhere, Westchester, the city, all of it. This place just straight up delivers. The sauce they give you? Dangerous. Like “I need a jar of this at home” dangerous. You can taste that it’s homemade and legit.

The salmon was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. And the best part? It came out hot. Like fresh-off-the-pan hot. Not that sad lukewarm stuff you get at other spots where it feels like your plate took a detour before hitting the table.

Now the rest of the food? Just as impressive. Someone in our group got the veal parm — huge portion, no games played, and tasted amazing. The lamb chops? They gave eight. Who even does that? Most places barely give you three and act like it’s generous.

And shoutout to Leo and Nicky these guys make us feel like we were regulars when we first walk in. Super friendly, super welcoming. Felt like I was eating at a relative’s house, if my relatives actually cooked like this…

Leo and his entire staff were absolutely wonderful!!! We booked a luncheon at Leo's after having an inurnment ceremony for our parents a few days before Christmas. There were 17 family members in our group. Leo was so accommodating, and his staff was VERY attentive. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!! We ordered multiple appetizers: Fried Calamari, Baked Clams Oreganata, Burrata, Fresh Mozzarella, Oysters on the half shell-all were so tasty that there was not a single morsel left. I ordered one of the specials of the day: Veal Osso Bucco with a side of Risotto, and it was one of the best I've ever had!!! Some of the other meals ordered were: Chicken Francais, Cavatelli with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage, Linguini Vongole (White Clam Sauce), and Spaghetti Carbonara, to name a few. All the meals were absolutely fabulous and well portioned, and there were NO LEFTOVERS! Some of us ordered dessert and coffee/cappuccino. I ordered the Red Velvet Cake-it was sublime! A huge thank you to Leo and "the Nicks" for the delicious food and for taking such good care of our family that day.
