I just have to say that it’s very unfortunate that I have to write this review, generally I wouldn’t do this because I am a very busy person, but the inconsistencies and lack of quality of Peruvian bakeries/restaurants need to stop now. If I’m spending my money….I expect a decent product, that I can actually finish eating and not throw away. This is why I am writing this review because it was a waste of my money and very disappointing. The Mazamorra Morada con Arroz con Leche, a very delicious dessert when is made right…. was the disappointment of my experience today with this bakery. The arroz con leche was watery and the mazamorra as well, the mazamorra tasted like it was diluted and needed more maiz morado and other ingredients. This is not the first time I’ve been in this bakery, I usually buy empanadas there and they are decent. Everything else I don’t buy there because I don’t like the way it tastes. I am very particular with my food and I know how Peruvian food/pastries should taste like…I am Peruvian and I’m sorry but none of these Peruvian restaurants/bakeries in Newburgh or Middletown NY or around these areas do justice for ORIGINAL Peruvian food. Definitely not a good representation of authentic Peruvian food. They are overpriced & inconsistent. Now, I do have to say the owners of this bakery are really nice and friendly but, I cannot deny the poor quality of the dessert. With that being said I hope this feedback can help them improve their...
Read moreVery pricey on cakes. I ordered a tres leches cake, driest cake ive ever had, she literally skipped the "leche"! Literally tasted like a boxed cake from the supermarket. Was told to pick up at 5pm, arrived on time and still had to wait 45 minutes bc it wasnt done. Definitely disappointed to have paid $80 Edited after owners response: **I have my reciept of what I paid. Your info is incorrect because I was never told about shortage of staff nor asked to return. I waited there for my cake. We should accept negative criticism as well, it was MY experience rather you...

I brought my grandmother here (who was visiting from Peru) and she gave many compliments to everything but in specific, to their milhojas, mazamorra and chica morrada! The owner told us every batch is made with maiz morado! Definitely my go-to for...
