I grew up on John and Franks pizza, and spent a great deal of my youth playing video games inside the pizzeria. Not only is the food the best I have ever tasted, but the pizza is the one thing that I miss most since I live in the Midwest now. I had 2 pizzas shipped all the way to Kansas City as a special birthday present, which is not a regular service, but they went ahead and arranged it! It is hometown goodness at the core. Now that James cares for the family legacy, he has made some awesome improvements to the store, and the food is as delicious as it ever was (no changes needed, why mess with perfection). Moreover, the lack of the owners respect for customers feed back is deplorable. The owner was reasonably approached about the quality control issues however apparently the notion is that I already have your money too bad for you. As a hit or miss customer you may be satisfied. However, as someone who hopes to try to establish a rapport with neighborhood businesses and support your local community you will probably be seriously disappointed. Read moreI ordered a sub from here, it was supposed to be hot. It wasn't hot at all. Even the meat was cold. The meat was also very salty, as if they picked the cheapest ingredients they could find. J&F has fallen off over the years and it hasn't been good since the early 2000s. I only opted to eat it since it was offered to me. I tried to warn the person who offered that the food was trash and fell off. Well, they know now after they wasted their money for a cold, salty sub sandwich. Avoid this place like the plague.
