Pizza Hut — Restaurant in City of Olean

update big dinner box: rips u off with .20oz of sauce for 5 bread sticks, hoping you will buy more to put your purchase over 20$. And ur not warned or asked at all of u would like a regular sized cup of sauce, if that's size it what is sold for over a dollar when u buy one? Holy... what have we come to in this world? The employee that put the onions and pepperoni on my pizza didn't seem to care he was using huge flat sheets of white onion skin or that both slices of pepperoni were both directly on top of one another to save time, and he even missed 2 of the 8 small slices. Lol.

Excellent service, inside. There are tons of topping for the pizza. The jalapeños were of a very high quality!! Definitely recommend visiting the pizza hut while it's still new and the employees are on the ball! Dined-in, stuffed crust... way more cheese in the crust that I remember... the cups of extra dipping sauce became much smaller, and they charge u for them now. But it was worth every penny to visit the local pizza hut again, I think everyone has missed the place since covid. It was super busy, but we were seated right away and eating within 20 minutes of sitting down. All the specials and deals were removed from the menu, but they still have them, u just have to ask. When we walked in, not 1 minutes had passed and 3 servers had greeted us and let us know someone would be right with us as another was already cleaning out booth off, she even wiped the excess moisture off the table so we didn't get wet forearms while it dried. Our waitress was very attentive and showed up perfectly timed to not become annoying. LG pizza with 3 toppings and bread sticks came to just over $30... pricey (like every place these days), but perfect...

I went here at lunch for the infamous lunch buffet. I got here around 1130AM on a Thursday and the place was dead. By 1215PM, it was nearly full. So this place fills up fast! The pizza and bread sticks in the buffet tasted great. The restaurant itself was clean and had great service (I was seated as soon as I walked thru the door and drinks were on the table before I got back from my first buffet trip). Here are my two gripes that kept this place from getting 5 stars.

The first is the men's restroom ran out of hand soap at some unknown time prior to my entrance. This want unfortunately for me because before lunch I was working in a dirty environment and my hands REALLY needed cleaned. Sadly, I scrubbed as best I could with water. But seriously, I hope the male employees (if there were any) were washing their hands elsewhere.

The second was in the over 30 minutes I was there, there were never any new pizzas in the buffet. I REALLY wanted a slice or two of pizza with some sausage on it, but I never got any because even after I ate the remaining half of the pepperoni pizza that was at the buffet, it didn't get replaced before I had to leave. This disappointed me a bit because I really enjoy a good variety in my Pizza Hut lunch buffet and the four pizza's in the buffet didn't get replaced in my time there. This unfortunately was likely due to lack of customers at the time I was there.

But hey, the pizzas that were there were still delicious and had I stayed a bit longer I'm sure there would have been a new pizza out soon especially with the crowd rolling in. The lack of no sausage pizza didn't ruin my day in the least. I moved on and...

The servers are always nice always have a smile and always make sure you get the best prices and deals going. Set back at this establishment is cleanliness🤨 no one likes to eat with food on the floor and empty dirty tables around them. All staff members should know how to clean a table and pick up the front of the restaurant so no one is ever standing still. Also we were there for the buffet. Waited a little while for pizza to be switched out. It was very clear a few pizzas no one was caring for on the buffet they really hadn't been touched for well over 30min. And they continued to sit there. The salad bar was low on key things regular salad, ranch dressing, cheese, and the cottage cheese was warm my daughter said. There were no more then 20 guests during our visit with 2 servers and I believe if my memory serves me right, we all were eating the buffet except for the 4 rude ladys that sat in the booth behind me. So the salad bar should have remained stocked and the tables n floors cleaned. We all have our off days. This was just one visit and my personal opinion. My daughter's had an amazing time but children dont see what we adults see or they do and dont care. Either way the service was great, the food was great, and my daughters had an amazing time and for an hour of their life had fun together and got along. I would totally go back and give it...
