Rafi’s Food Hub — Restaurant in City of Olean

The food is good and spicy, but the delivery experience is making me question if I want to eat here again. The delivery driver wasn’t able to find my address, even though it is easily searchable in GPS. To his credit, he did call me twice but I wasn’t able to pick up the phone.

Upon calling the restaurant back, I was told that the delivery driver doesn’t use GPS….. not using GPS seems like an unnecessary complication, in my opinion. 45 mins after talking with the restaurant, our food was delivered (thankfully still warm-ish).

What caused me to write this review was that when the driver was delivering my food, instead of saying “I’m sorry for the confusion” or something along those lines, he said “this is ridiculous” and walked away. I’m blown away by the attitude that I received, especially since we regularly receive food deliveries (and have had food delivered by Rafi’s in the past) and have NEVER had this issue getting our food delivered. My address was correct. If the driver had been using GPS, this would have never...

Delicious chicken kebab platter! Perfect rice pilaf, succulent chicken, tasty salad and tzatziki sauce. I've enjoyed all of Rafis' restaurants, from his first restaurant on Barry Street.

One complaint: while the wait for the food was minimal, I had to wait for a while to be seated because there wasn't enough staff. There were one or two guys at the grill, and the owner was answering phone calls, cashing people out, and attending to newly-arrived customers. Too much activity for ONE person, because then the newly-arrived customers have to wait longer than necessary to be seated.

Business looks good, so don't shortchange the customers: hire another worker to make things go more...

This was fantastic! First, don't be fooled by the exterior, it is casual yet very nice atmosphere. I ordered the chicken tikkha platter, my wife had the chicken curry, daughter-in-law had gyro platter, son had chicken parmigiana- all plate were super. Mr. Radi himself took order and served, he has 5 restaurants in area each others owned by one of his children. The chicken tikkha was really good a grilled chicken with a pico de gallo type sauce can be mild/medium or hot sauce- great taste and the rice was soooo good. The curry was very good - a nice green curry. The gyro super- can't say enough about the food! You have to try it if you are ever...
