My go to place for late night fried chicken whenever I'm in Poughkeepsie. Although it was busier than usual at 1140pm, I used the drive through and received my food in roughly 10 minutes. The gentlemen who run the place are quite friendly. They treat everyone with respect. They seem to have a very good reputation in the community based on my observations of their interactions with their customers, some of whom they address by name. Their prices are reasonable and there is a wide range of offerings on the menu from fried chicken to lamb over rice. They also serve ice cream and give a hefty portion for a low price. If you want a quick meal and some chicken, this is your place to go. I've never waited more the 10 minutes for my meal and that's only because I had a burger and cheese fries but they are quick and dry everything right there. They dont wear gloves and the chicken has a kick to it so if you are sensitive to spices, avoid the chicken get a burger or a gyro instead. They're parking lot ducks because it's right on the corner so you'll be waiting forever to pull in and out but they have a drive thru which is awesome.
