Smith Street hot dogs is what it is it's a hot dog place it has an easy in easy out and if you like sausage and peppers on a hot dog roll sausage and peppers on a wedge meatballs cold cuts and some of the best tuna you're ever going to find with a secret recipe that they still haven't told me what it is LOL I'm quite pleased to be a part of that establishment for many many many years and have felt very comfortable in just saying go there. My son loves the meatball sandwiches and the beauty about the sandwiches it's a little bit bigger bang-for-the-buck because you get one sausage per hot dog roll and to me it's a perfect mixture of bread and meat so that's my choice along with the hot dogs would go from straight mustard to mustard and onions to chili dogs two hot dogs with everything that include relish chili onions and such solid solid solid for this...

I don't know how many details you can give about a hot dog place but these are the best. Any topping you could really want, plus delicious meatballs and sausage and peppers. I have been going there since I was a kid with my Dad (35 +years) and it's like stepping back in time. Always delicious. Could use a facelift on the inside, but, that is what's cool about it. It just doesn't matter. Great place to have some dogs or even get them to go and drive down to the river and eat them....

I used to live in Poughkeepsie and would grab a sausage and pepper sandwich at least once a week. I now live in Tucson and can only get them when I visit. I get at least 2 at a time cause they are sooo delicious. I even pack some to take back to my Husband and they happily fill my container for travel.
