Came here for brunch for a double date, during limited dine in service. We made a reservation online, but there were plenty of tables that you were most likely be able to grab a table at your leisure. We finally came here after seeing their lucrative Instagram posts and reading the mixed reviews. The food was good. I ordered the French omelette, other ordered the breakfast bowl, burrito and Italian Stallion Omlette. For the prices of these meals, it left us feeling unsatisfied. I cannot lie, the food tasted good, but didn’t really seem worth the higher prices. This is coming from people who have gone to quite a few breweries. My partner and a friend were still hungry after their meals that they ordered the wings. Two of the three meals that had toast, didn’t get butter on their plates. And not to say we are heathens, but no hot sauce or ketchup was offered, nor did the waiter come by to ask. I understand that food is usually marked up, but quite honestly, some menu changes should be made. Make the menu smaller, make the prices a little more reasonable, and give good portions. I get food service/hospitality. Their drinks? Pretty damn good. It is a brewery. The mimosa flight was pretty good. I will have to say the strawberry and raspberry was the best. The blueberry and blackberry were okay, and the cherry tasted like a children’s cough syrup. If a food place is gonna have pretty pictures on their social media, live up to the hype. If we are in the area again, maybe we would try their dinner menu vs their brunch.

Our dinner there on the first night of Steakhouse Menu left us wondering if we’d return. This review is mixed with some things that could use improvement & some things that should not change. The restaurant was not busy at 6p on New Year’s Eve but the wait time for our waiter to greet us was a good ten minutes (minus one star). My boyfriend enjoyed the beer on tap. Flights were not offered when we asked about them. I was not able to change/delete or upgrade the french fries on my $26.00 cheeseburger (minus one star). Both of these could be improved on by adding flights & allowing substitute for fries on steakhouse night . Now for the food. The onion soup was phenomenal. Our Cheeseburgers were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was okay; a little noisy (four tables of 3 to four people seated at each table and four waiters ; two of which were just standing around) & the dining room was dark in my opinion as we couldn’t read the menus without using the flashlights on our phone. Maybe the regular menu Monday thru Saturday would be a better option for us to try.

Mill House has a really fun and lively atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and it’s a nice place to grab a drink. I had high hopes for the food after seeing a lot of great reviews and their menu that was filled with a lot of great options. We got the bang bang cauliflower, chicken cordon blue, and pressed turkey sandwich(turkey is pressed really thin, not the sandwich). It took probably 20 mins to get the cauliflower and another 30-40 to get the mains. The food was fine, it was a bit too salty and nothing great. It was a little gross watching waiters walk around with their fingers touching the food, or handing plates filled with food to other staff to bring to tables after we had just watched the same employee sweeping the floors and picking up garbage and then touching meals without washing hands. It was also really hard to get our waiter’s attention. Ultimately, I’d maybe come back for a drink, but this isn’t a great meal option for me, over rated and over priced for the quality.
