I’m so excited I found @jensArtisan bread! It’s quickly becoming my new go-to local bakery.

The bread is some of the best I’ve found in Rochester with a deep golden-brown crust that’s just the right amount of crispy and chewy along with a soft crumb and the sourdough has a great tang to it.

As a millennial, I’m contractually obligated to eat avocado toast on a regular basis. I have to say, jensArtisan bread does not disappoint! It makes for some superb avocado toast. Just top it up with a dollop of chili crisp and some feta cheese and you’re good to go. 😋

Besides bread, it’s a great neighborhood store with a well-curated selection of locally-made groceries and food goods such as cheeses, meats, coffee, jams and more.

I read the article in the D&C about this place and knew I had to go! So glad I did. It’s not close to where I live but it’s worth the trip! Rochester needed a place like this. Bread is one of my favorite foods and this is amazing quality. It’s naturally-leavened artisan bread which is better for the digestive system. Jen uses organic, local ethically/sustainably sourced ingredients. I have tried 2 kinds of bread so far and they were the best I have ever had! I became a regular immediately. Oh, and if you like cinnamon rolls like I do, I suggest going on Saturday morning and treating yourself! You can’t go wrong here, and you’ll be supporting a female - owned...

This place is a MUST place to visit and the bread, pastries are the BOMB!!! Jen is always working so hard on her baking, and the love she has for it shows thru with everything she makes. I have to now buy 2 loaves of bread each week because I can't keep it in the house. As soon as it enters, half is gone in the first half hour of arrival. The staff is so friendly and eager to answer all of your questions about the bread and baked goods that are available that visit. I cannot say enough about this fantastic place we are lucky to have in our North Winton area and wish Jen the prosperity she deserves with this business venture. May she never stop...
