Dibellas USED to be the best place to get a sub in town.
Not anymore..
This location has gone out of it's way to make sure I don't go back anytime soon. For years and years you go to the counter.. tell them your bread.. Then you're cheese.. Meat.. Veggies..etc.. they cut it and hand it to you and you go pay.. The system was great. Unless you had a hot sub.. No waiting around.
Now- you have to order at the cashier. Cashier is at the far end so if I was the only person in the building it takes longer for them to get and start working on my order.. But if it's busy.. Like it was today.. You now need to wait for the cashier to take orders one by one for everyone ahead of you.. But they also need to cash out the customers before I can even place my order.. So today I waited 12 minutes before they even took my order (cashier was slow and couldn't manage taking orders and charging for orders in a timely fashion at all). THEN I had to wait there like cattle with everyone who ordered in front of me.. Then they are bringing subs so everyone waiting.. There is confusion.. There's no way to know until you unwrap your sub if they even gave you what want.
The guy behind me walked out and told the managers "This new process sucks. I'm leaving." I hope the managers listen to that guy because I should have left too Andi won't be returning anytime soon.
Not to mention how absurdly expensive these subs have gotten over the last 5 years.. But I'm not trying to waste my time in lines at Dibellas.
The old system was fine.. Get your act together, management.
EDIT: DIBELLAS RECENTLY SENT A BOGO COUPON SO I THOUGHT I'D STOP BY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE.
THE FOOD IS AVERAGE AND JUST NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE OR MAYBE JUST NOT WHAT THE GREECE LOCATION HAS SET A HIGH BAR FOR.
I WAITED IN LINE FOR 11 MINUTES BEFORE MY ORDER WAS TAKEN. BECAUSE I HAD MY 3 YEAR OLD AND HAD A COUPON IT TOOK A FEW MINUTES.. LINE BEHIND ME GOT LONG.. EVERYONE WAITING TO BOTH PLACE THEIR ORDER AND PAY. MY TRIP FOR A SUB PICKUP WAS OVER 30 MINUTES LMAO. NOT GREAT WITH THE 3 YEAR OLD.
CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS A ZERO. THEY DON'T EVEN ALLOW YOU TO PUT SALT/PEPPER ON GRILLED SUBS ANYMORE LOL. THEY WERE ANNOYED I ASKED AND SAID "If we do it for you we'll have to do it for everyone." ABSOLUTELY WILD.
I WON'T BE BACK TO DIBELLAS TO USE THE OTHER COUPONS I WAS SENT.
MY LARGE SUB COMBO PLUS A COOKIE COST ME $26.42. JUST OUTRAGEOUS TO PAY THAT FOR TERRIBLE SERVICE.. A LONG WAIT.. AND A SUB THAT DOESN'T EQUATE TO HOW I...
Read moreI am a frequent visitor to DiBella's Subs various locations. Mostly Henrietta and Fairport. Upon entering I saw two customers ahead of me I saw for employees including the manager. The gentleman who waited on me I believe his name was Matthew acknowledge that I was there and said he'd be right with me. In the meantime I noticed a person looking like the manager putting bread in the oven and after what appeared to be maybe 2 minutes weights on the next customer a woman who is behind me. I was at this point actually being waited on. Why am I wasting my words it just was not a very positive experience. Not very busy had to wait to get my sub while what appeared to be a takeout order was being made instead of waiting on the customer in front of them. And then I waited a couple of minutes at the register to be cashed out. Sorry to spew just think more organization needs to be happening here. I do realize running a business with maybe one less person which is what everyone is trying to do is difficult. But DiBella's corporate needs to understand that customers don't like to wait. My experience would have been better had there been a cashier waiting to take my money or maybe the person in charge of who was making a second person after me look at the register or be aware of the fact that someone was waiting. Not just a slam on the help this is obviously not what DiBella's should want to hear. Also just as an aside as we were leaving Costco's trying to figure out what to do for dinner we decided the DiBellas would be a good option. I had to put into my GPS what the closest DiBella's to me was not realizing that I had just passed a DiBella's location to my left. I think a sign on the exterior of the wall which blocks your building would be a great idea. Might get you more business but obviously you would then...
Read moreThis was my first visit here & to be honest, it really went far above my expectations. Used to being ripped off by skimpy subs at other stores, even Wegmans, every location i tried in the past seems tight with their ingredients. I had a $15 gift card i needed to use gotten at my job so on my way home after work i decided to stop by and check it out. Ordered a large Italian sub and Antipasto salad. I was impressed immediately, the salad so fresh seemed like everything just picked out of the garden. The Italian sub was very delicious with sufficient ingredients to even satisfy my critical attitude for subs. The bread was crusty and moist, because the bread is what makes the sub.. Here, at Dibella's on E. Henrietta Road, I must admit, was very pleased. The workers were nice, but so engrossed in doing a good job making subs they forgot to ask me to pay. I could of walked out without paying but of course i would never do that so i had to remind them that i needed to pay. The girl seemed a little embarrassed that she forgot this, but while paying she needed help from another worker on how to let cash machine accept gift cards. After i was done paying, I walked out of the store with my bag of food and right away noticed it had some weight to it, which naturally made me feel happy (meaning that obviously there must have had enough ingredients i am always so concerned about). anyway, when i made it home finally and started eating the sub, I saw what it really looked like, so nice and scrumptious, enjoying eating what i could, then saving the other half to eat for lunch at work the next day. But to sum this review all up, I am definitely going to return again because the food was worth every penny &...
