Don’t recommend this place. Providers don’t seem competent (besides Dr Scibetta who I think may now be retired) first provider didn’t realize I had a chemical pregnancy and came in saying congratulations giving me a pregnancy booklet although I had been in the ER almost 2 weeks before and if she had looked at my chart and lab results before coming into the room she clearly would have known I was no longer pregnant.
I get being short staffed and rushed because I work in health care myself, but this is ridiculous. Providers should know whether a patient has miscarried or not.
My second consecutive loss, a different provider never investigated causes of bleeding during my second trimester and I never was offered an ultrasound for reassurance during my bleeding episodes. Every time I called the office with concerns I was treated like an annoyance. I ended up losing my baby in the second trimester. I don’t know if the ultrasound would have shown something, but she clearly wasn’t qualified enough to deal with my history. This same provider during my follow up immediately after my loss had the nerve to ask me if I would like to donate my breast milk as I began lactating after my loss. Did not try to help explain why the loss had happened or try to give me any answers, just asked if I would like to donate my breast milk. I was also not offered any medications to help stop my breast milk from coming in.
It took me 3-4 months to be able to be seen by MFM to go over why my second trimester loss may have occurred. I really liked that provider, Dr. Marinescu. However it shouldn’t take 3-4 months to get results over why I lost my baby.
The office was also hesitant to provide me a fertility clinic referral even though guidelines suggest after 2 losses women should have a thorough work up to investigate possible causes. When I called the strong fertility center, they said I would have to wait over a year due to my age. (I was 23 when this happened).
I’m done. Most providers at this clinic are NPs or PAs not doctors. It will be difficult for you to see an actual doctor if that is what you are comfortable with. I would give zero stars if I could.
I do not recommend this clinic, especially if you have a history of recurrent miscarries or unusual pregnancy symptoms.
I have since switched to unity OBGYN at brockport and have had much better care. I’m being seen by an actual doctor. I also was able to self-refer myself to Boston IVF at unity hospital (their fertility center) and it only took 3 weeks for...

I have called three days in a row trying to get an appointment before the 20th of August. I started a new job advised I would not have ins until August 1st. Originally I was set up for next Monday the 28th and was estimated about $700 for out of pocket with no INS. I don’t feel comfortable paying that. I also don’t feel comfortable waiting until the 20th of August due to my history of issues. Will not help or put me on a cancellation list. Truly the lack of empathy, and care has disappeared from this practice within the last few years. I’m disappointed, and it’s time to look for a new practice at this point.
If I could give Brittany the receptionist 0 stars, I would. Customer service lacks all around and quite frankly doesn’t exist with her. I called explaining what was going on and I kept getting cut off, or acted like I was interrupting her day. Listening is KEY, and she was not wanting to. Thank you for hanging up on me Brittany, I truly hope these calls are monitored for training purposes because you need more. You were nasty for no reason and your attitude from the start said it all. I’ve had good experiences here with Dr. Scibetta, but the receptionist is what starts the whole experience...
Read moreMy friend called today while I sat next to her and she had the phone on speaker. The receptionist was extremely rude and incompetent frankly. The first time she asked my friend for her full information, the receptionist said my friend was not a patient. However my friend had been in a few months ago. The receptionist proceeded to ask my friend for her full information 2 more times. By the 3rd time giving the same information over and over my friends voice got a little tense. But that is all. The receptionist sensed the frustration and yelled at her and said she didn’t have to take my friend’s attitude and hung up. I barely noticed the difference in my friends voice and was shocked this transpired. The receptionist needs...
