Lakeside Hots — Restaurant in City of Rochester

I am so disgusted by this Resturant and it’s owner. I walked in to pickup my Uber eat orders and kindly asked for a plastic cup while awaiting for everything to finish. The cook behind the counter asked if I could pass him two cokes for my client pickup order while doing so I asked again for a plastic cup only to be looked at very ghastly. I proceeded and passed the cook the cokes (which was a nice gesture and saved him a trip as orders should be made/prepared by the store and not the Uber eats worker) After finishing the orders I asked again for a plastic cup to be looked at wrongfully he then proceeded and passed a stack of clean/open cups to go to his back shelf and hand me the only cup stationed above the sink. He processed with handing me the cup only to find it was used and dirty around the rim. I was so furious and disgusting by his actions and handed the cup back. I walked out feeling so belittled but it also made me think how is this store preparing food for people(color) if he’s willing to hand a paying black customer a dirty cup. I highly recommend no one order from here as the morals/values are disarranaged and sickening. I also wonder if my skin color was anything other than black would he have provided me with...

Not even close to good. They use an Oscar Mayer hot dog for their hot dog plates. Burgers are cheap meat that's over cooked. They add garlic powder to the macaroni salad and I can understand a sprinkle but it seriously over powered as if they put a whole container in there. I also ordered onion rings and got 5 small rings for 5 bucks.... I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Answering to owner. I have read through the other reviews and have found a few more that say the same thing as me. I am a foodie and what you are serving is not good. I don't lie about things like this. You also come off very rude to customers and your responses to the reviews show that you couldn't care less about the people paying your salary. Not good.

Update: this place is still the worst plate I've ever had. Garlic powder still in my teeth. DONT EAT HERE IF YOU VALUE ANY KIND OF FLAVOR. If your suffering from covid symptoms like loss of taste and smell the garlic powder will clear all...

The food is decent, albeit a bit soggy (garbage plate was flooded with grease and the buns they use for their burgers are way too soft). The biggest thing is that the majority of the people who work there just stand at the counter while their friends fill the place and appear to just eat for free. With the exception of the 1 adult who works there and presumably owns the place, the employees are all just kids and pay no attention to the actual customers. The cook was visibly texting, the one waitress appeared unshowered and frankly, hungover... it was honestly very awkward. They also forgot to even charge us for our meal, and if we were less honest we easily could have just walked out without paying. Overall, it seems like this has to be their first venture into the restaurant business, and it doesn't seem like it will last long. You only get so many chances to impress people... Especially when there's Bill Grays and Don's Original 1/4 mile down the...
