Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Rochester

This place is seriously the worst. My wife and I really enjoy Salvatore's, and before moving from Brighton, we would eat there at least once a week. Since moving to this side of town, we have been nothing but disappointed with the Dewey Ave location. We have made many complaints, to which the managers have treated us like scum. It's really sad to give up on one of our favorite places, but it has been almost two years. We CANNOT place an order without a mistake and some attitude. We've even gone as far as to contact Salvatore's via their website, thinking that going over the location's head might make a difference. We could not have been more wrong. They never even contacted us back! Their prices are outrageous, which never bothered us when the product matched. Now, we've decided to spend our money at establishments who are more focused on their customers. We no longer eat at Salvatore's. While the locations are privately owned, you would think that a local franchise would be dedicated to providing quality products AND service to their community. The community that built...

Will never give my business to any Salavatores ever again. First I ordered two days in a row that got screwed up. First day I ordered food for pick up, just as I get in my car the driver pulls up telling me it didn't day carryout. When I live maybe a 1:30 second drive from the shop and I received a receipt on my email, I used to be a delivery driver also so I gave the schemer driver a nice tip $5. Then the stupid manager calls my phone at 11pm or so saying i didn't pick up my order and I said no you guys screwed up and delivered it top my house and he said okay an hung up. Not sorry or anything. Next and final experience was fathers day, I ordered two hot garbage plates, my order was screwed up and my dads steak plate tasted like cardboard he said and threw it in the garbage after a few bites. I was enraged and instead of calling back I just will not give them my patronage any more. Please think before you order from this place, eventually they will screw it up (obviously its the idiots who work there but the company will suffer for hiring them) so...

Ordered online. Waiting for the delivery only instead they call me almost an hour later to be told they ran out of bread! They cancel my order, didn’t ask if I wanted something different like IDK PIZZA, WING DINNERS or the dozens of other items on menu?! Of course they didn’t offer me a special coupon for another time for the huge inconvenience. Nah, they can’t do that-they only want to take our money, smh So I’m done with them.

FYI Luckily, I remembered about the hardworking Chinese Restaurant a few blocks down from Salvatore’s called Yummy House. Opened till late with delivery and way cheaper!
