The Pasta Shoppe — Restaurant in City of Rochester

I hate to speak negatively about a local small business, but this was a huge waste of money for me. We tried the chicken marsala ravioli and the marsala cream sauce. Both were terrible. The ravioli tasted both dry AND undercooked; the pasta had a strange texture. I almost would have said that it was a poor GF substitute, if I hadn't looked at the ingredients. The cream sauce was not savory enough and too sweet. We struggled to even finish it. With how pricey it was, I really regret trying it. Absolutely loved this place. Picked up three types of pasta. A whole wheat Malfadine (sp?) Ricotta Gnocchi and a buccatini. All surpassed expectations! The gnocchi with a Palomino sauce was our favourite. Used the buccatini with a Lentil bolognese and the malfadine was robust enough to take a heavy cream garlic and thyme sauce with portabellos. All delicious. Epic payment disaster ans had to contact shop after we left to apologize and the customer service was amazing. 10/10...

The shop is clean and organized, along with great products makes for a wonderful experience every time♥️ I dont remember his name unfortunately, but the young gentleman who always cashes me out is so sweet and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the products.
