The Turf Terrace — Restaurant in City of Saratoga Springs

The food was okay. I had a caesers salad and it was nice and fresh. Others in our party had various dishes and they were all okay. The biggest problem was the service. Our waiter, Mike, was not attentive at all. I waited over an hour for him to wander over so I could get a glass of water. The wait was even longer for him to mosey over, so we could order our food. He had a pretty lousy attitude and was not friendly at all. I can say this was probably an aberration, because other waitstaff were very jovial, accommodating and attentive. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on your customers! We made the best of it and certainly did not let him spoil...

Took 6 1/2 hours to order all courses. Charcuterie board was awful, it’s 4 slices of meat, hard cheese left in the fridge too long and some raisins. Saratoga chips and dip were great, shrimp cocktail was great. Salads did not have any toppings on them that were listed on the menu. Clam chowder was good. Our waiter Andrew was rude, sarcastic and lazy!!! We were a party of 16 and he refused to separate checks told us it was too much work for him, lied to people in our party , causing some to be annoyed who wanted their own bill , and said some of the group said to put the bill for all 16 when that wasn’t the case .
