Peppino's Restaurant & Catering — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

We have ordered from for a long time and have never had a problem with delivery. To my surprise they no longer deliver less then 5 miles away. When I called to speak to a manager she knew exactly who I was and said they dont deliver to 13088. When I told her that it's less then 5 miles she began to tell me that my last orders were pickups which is true because we were out that way but every other order was delivery. Then sais its 12 min and 24 minutes round trip. Then begins to tell me that I was yelling at her and I told her believe me if I was yelling she would know it then said if I gave her a minute she could look it up and see how far so if I didn't give her my address and she's only going by phone number how did she get my address? Not from me maybe because it was in her computer because we have had deliveries and a lot of them. Then says she probably could deliver it and told her never mind because I dont like being called a liar . Then as I'm looking up the site I get 4 text messages asking me to reply Y for 20 % off and other offers. To bad I would rather have your pizza then any other. We will Start looking some place else. The women i spoke to as well really should not talk to customers the way she did and try to lie and tell me they have never delivered to my home. Can damn sure guarantee their pizza will never be in...

Moved here in February and have been a regular since. I have never had a single issue with the friendliness, Service or Food. Tonight on 3/30/2024 I had issues with all three. I had a very small Order. To start with I only live 5 minutes away from the store but I cannot walk there past dark as its not safe. I ordered around 7:45 PM. I was informed my Delivery was done around 8:42 PM. 9:05 comes around no order. I call and get told they are behind on Orders. Cool. No problem. Worried my food would be cold but it is what it is. Called back almost half hr later when food was still not here. Got my food in very bad condition. The black to go boxes were both smooshed and I didnt get my drink I paid for. Called to talk to someone about the missing drink and shocker...kept getting put on hold and eventually disconnected. What on earth?! Soured my opinion a little bit on this place. Food was soggy and cold as well but I couldn't talk to anyone to replace or get it remade after being told to call back to get things made right. The day before easter people have things to do and I didnt have time to play phone tag with the girl...

My company ordered lunch on 2/19/15 from Peppino’s on Grant Boulevard and had the worst experience ever. We placed an order at 8:30am to have pizza and wings delivered at 11am. The food arrived on time, however, the pizza was cold and was obvious it had been sitting for hours. The wings barely had sauce on them and had a funny taste. We also never received blue cheese, celery, plates or napkins which were requested. I called to speak to John, the owner, and was appalled on how he handled the situation. On the initial call, not only did the owner call me “unclassey”, but he was defensive and wanted to pick up the food because he didn’t believe my story. My supervisor called back in disbelief to speak with the owner and was not only sworn at but threatened as well. The call ended with the owner saying “I’m going to meet you in the parking lot to smash your (expletive) head in.” My company employs over 500 people and we will never order there again! I have never witnessed such unprofessionalism in my life and cannot believe they are still...
