Su Su Dim Sum — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

My meal truly changed my night. The longest, grueling, tiring, and stressful day of my life as of recent seemed to be only fixable by NyQuil and sleep. My efforts to get Chinese food from a different restaurant were futile; a killer to my already low mood. However, Su Su Dim Sum was there for me when I needed someone the most. I places my order of General Tso Chicken, Sautéed Vegetables, and Brown Rice, and waited for my night to change for the better. And it did.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so friendly and inviting. I was disappointed to see no one at any of the tables; I wish I was able to stay and enjoy my meal there. My adventure to have my meal was set to continue as my best friend drove me home. The food warmed my body as we spoke of life.

Releasing my food from its entrapment was the most animalistic experience of my life. Filled with so much desire, so much want. I was hungry, feral for my meal and no one could stop me from devouring everything i could. The delicious taste of each bite still lingers in my mouth as I reflect on this beautiful memory.

Excellent food located in a hole in the wall location. Was previously a diner and the signs are still there, even on the napkin holders. Once you get past the ambience the food is worth the trip. It is basically a take out restaurant with booths left over from the prior owners diner. The biggest problem is you have to share if not going solo. The dishes are not brought out together. Again, this is not a real dine in establishment. The two young men who serve wear jackets and hoodies while serving. But every dish is a winner. The cooks in the back work their magic. It was my twentieth birthday and per tradition I forced my friends to get Chinese food. Su Su Dim Sum had left a takeout menu in our door and we figured we should give it a shot. Holy cow were we amazed! The food is absolutely phenomenal and the portions are perfect. We shared about ten dishes between 14 people and it was the perfect amount for everyone and under $150 😱 sounds like a steal to me! Unbeknownst to them, they gave me some sesame balls and a two liter of soda with my order. Made my birthday that much better.
