Update: we were to meet friends here that we haven't seen in a bit or we pry wouldn't have stopped here because our last time was regrettable ! But they do have a new menu and everything was decent except for the mashed potatoes mashed with water and were very watery and bland unable to drink them! Very excellent service from Ingrid our server !!! Increased stars but I'm thinking it may be a hit or miss with no consistency on food or anything else 🤔
We stopped for a quick bite and to see if in person was better than delivered waitress was very nice but no refills offered on my husband's early empty glass. The robot server delivered our boneless wings with dirty plates and no celery that the menu states come with it the robot was cute but lacks the personal touch were you can request something more or less the boneless wings were ok 9 nuggets that equal less than half of a chicken breast the amount of food their menu shows is triple what they serve. I had 1 very thin hashbrown chip it was very interesting (I would have preferred real hashbrowns that were ordered) not a chip ! The omelet was not even close to what the menu showed or stated no American cheese so the mile high Denver omlet turned out to be 1/4 inch disappointment ! My husband's double cheese burger and 8 fries was also a disappointment his burgers were very thin appeared spatula spread thin with lace holes in the burgers to spread them to fit a bun. If you go here don't expect to get what you ordered or the way or amount it shows on their menu or how the menu states it is. Expect to get whatever you get their way and don't expect refills on drinks. And don't expect to get to full !!!
(Doordash delivery) we paid extra for the onion rings as a side and received a whole 4 onion rings and the hashbrowns was a very small portion too and only cooked 0n one side very chewy the hamburg fried was good it definitely wasn't chicken fried steak misleading menu (no steak it was hamburg) nachos was a small portion for a shared appetizer but was good for what there was And the strawberry pancake balls were good they could have used some strawberries to make them moist they are on the dry side. Not sure if we will ever do a take out order...
Read moreI worked there for 8 weeks. Very under staffed . General Manager is very unqualified for her position. Very ruined to her staff, argumentative with them if things are not her way. Clearly she does not like spending time in her our restaurant. Seems like it's more of a pain to be there ,then care about her business. Byron the assistant Manager should be GM. He does everything there. My weeks there were up and down. I have been with staff members that were under the influence. I have had to stay 2 hours after my shift, cuz other server was falling a sleep at register with customers. And unaware where she even was. With no consequences. Had car accident after she left. No consequences. Thanksgiving night, no dish washer, not to busy. But I was written up for not rolling silver. I was suppose to wash my silver and roll it before I left. These are not the only things happening in is Denny's. Great server's there. But they are way over work and very disrespected. Last night I was there. Night Manager did not show up again for 3rd night.Tammy General Manager came in with biggest attitude to everyone on staff but the one that did not show. I had ordered food and had ticket. SHE THREW IT OUT! Then asked me if I had ticket for it. At that time, I did not know she threw it away. I then ask her about it, and again with attitude, she said yes I did. I paid for that. With out question she did not care. I told her how it upset me, and that I had paid for it. I was asked who do you think your talking to. I said you, I paid for my food. I said I will just leave then. Tammy the general Managers response to me was, I will make all your tips then! WHAT A PROFESSIONAL MANAGER! I know for fact that she threatened other employees. Which are younger kids, with things that do not affect the restaurant at all. Many things happening behind the doors at Denny's. I loved my job there, and my co workers. Read moreThis was a negative experience. Service was below standard. There was one couple seated and eating.We stood for almost 10 minutes waiting to be seated. Finally, from across the dining area, I gestured to the server to get her attention. As she turned towards my direction our eyes met and I proceeded to speak only loud enough so she could hear me say, " I'm just going to go ahead and seat the two of us. With a nod and verbal reply of, "That's fine honeys." Wasn't too long of a wait for menus to be brought and our beverage orders to be taken. Server was cordial. I made reference to a sign posted on front glass entry door. It was explaining that due to shortages that all items may not be available. So my question of course was what don't you have? We were informed that as far as our server was concerned they had everything. However, oddly enough, when I began to order a salad I was informed by my server, that the lettuce was so bad that she would not allow it on the line to be served. So much for having everything. Shut down right off the rip on the funky lettuce 🥬. We placed our order. My boneless buffalo chicken wings were overcooked, soggy fries, ordered an orange juice never received it, and was charged for it. Our bill seemed too high for so little. So yes, poor value. I still tipped around 15% and paid for the orange juice I did not get. The bright side to this was the robotic server they have that actually brings your order...
