This place sucks and is sinking. I was forced to wait, about, three minutes to even put in my order. The girl that came to the counter is wearing a large bright yellow sweatshirt. I ordered two McDoubles and a medium soft drink. After placing my order I tried to briefly engage the surly young lady in small talk. I said to her, "How are things going today, well I hope?" Her reply was, "well I haven't quit yet." Then she walked away without giving me my cup. So when a manager approached the front counter I said "Excuse me please, could I bother you for a medium cup." She said to me in a very harsh manner I needed to wait.
Now, in their defense I understand that this job has become very difficult and stressful but I do believe they should still, try to, maintain whatever professionalism they pretend to have when dealing with customers.
Oh, and let's not forget once I returned to my table with my meal I discovered that I would be forced to rebuild my sandwiches I ordered them without pickle, because in my opinion McDonald's pickles are tough. I also asked for extra onion, because I like onions. I found the meat patties thrown sloppily across each other and the onions were all over the inside of the package so I was forced to scrape up these onions and placed him back on to the sandwich so that I could consume them as I had paid for. 3:30p...
Read morethis has got to be the worst mcdonald’s location in the entire city .I just sat there for 15 minutes in a long line only to sit for 15 more once i made it to the speaker.i order the new mccrispy sandwhich i normaly check my food before i leave but i had been waitting so long and only ordered one sandwhich i decided to just leave .i go to eat my sandwhich is literally chicken and bread no lettuce or tomato.. the chicken was the size of a tender i first noticed how light the bag was and thought to my self this feels like half a sandwhich and it basicly was smh.those girls there will just ignore you if you walk inside the building .and they seem to make each order one by one which takes forever but doesn’t improve the quality of the food because they still manage to mess up the most simple requests…
ps:had to come back and edit my review to say i bit into the sandwhich after posting my review and the chicken is raw! honestly i don’t see how damn near every review for this mcdonald’s is 1 star with complaints and pictures and they still haven’t done anything to improve the quality..like hire more qualified staff …ironically this seems to be one mcdonald’s where the ice cream machine is always working but they always seem to be making ice cream that you never really see them give...
Read moreDisgusting Experience at McDonald’s on Mohawk Street, Utica I’ve been to McDonald’s locations all across the tri-state area, and I can confidently say that the ones in the Mohawk Valley—especially this location on Mohawk Street in Utica—are by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. This visit was an absolute nightmare, and I’m beyond disappointed. The kitchen was an outright mess—floors covered in fries, random receipts, and who-knows-what-else scattered everywhere. There were paper towels just sitting on the counter, and the overall state of the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in hours, if not days. I get that fast food can be hectic, but this level of filth is unacceptable. It made me seriously question the hygiene standards here and whether my food was even safe to eat. Compared to other McDonald’s in the region, the Mohawk Valley locations are consistently subpar. I’ve never had an issue with cleanliness or service at spots in Albany, Syracuse, or even smaller towns, but every time I visit one in this area, it’s a gamble. This location takes the cake for being the most disgusting fast food spot I’ve ever stepped foot in. Save yourself the trouble and drive a bit further to a cleaner, better-managed McDonald’s. I won’t be coming back here...
