Rosso Verde — Restaurant in City of Utica

Food was pretty good. The pizza and wings really hit the spot. Usually I like a thinner pizza, but I felt like something thicker, & from their pics the pizza looked perfect. I was right. It was exactly what I had in mind. Only complaint with the pizza is that the peppers seemed not so fresh, but that didn't really take away from the pizza at all (I will say I was suprised at how small the medium was). Even the crust was fantastic. The everything wings were pretty great as well, though the blue cheese in the sauce was practically nonexistent, which is one of my fav things about everything sauce! They followed special instructions no prob, food was out quick for being dinner time. I see lots of complaints about customer service, and I'll admit I haven't experienced any to judge one way or the other, but I can say the food was definitely up to par; and I have very high pizza...

Food is great but I've been noticing that customer service can be iffy. If you are angry while working at Rosso Verde, THEN QUIT or at least give yourself time to cool down and then come back to work. I personally do not like angry people making or handling my food because I cannot tell if they have malicious intentions!

Incident: I just got off the phone with a guy who began to curse when I took literally a few seconds to pull up on my credit card info on my phone to pay for my order. I think he tried to cover the mic of the phone because he sound far. Better luck next time.

I am purposely putting one star so that I can bring attention to this issue.

We ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, a veggie calzone, and 30 wings. The pizza and calzone was good. The marinara/spaghetti sauce provided with the calzone was ice cold which I thought was weird. Who wants cold dipping sauce for a hot calzone? The wings were overcooked, too hard, and dry.... nobody liked those! They don’t provide any sauce with their wings which I’ve never heard of in my life! They have the audacity to charge extra for sauce. Ridiculous! The wings and sauce were a complete waste of money. The ranch sauce was kinda sweet, who wants sweet ranch sauce?
