the ideal sandwich shop. grew up in Utica but live a couple time zones away to a place where they wouldn't know a good sandwich if it hit em in the face. to anyone living nearby that takes this place for granted - stop. I'd do just about anything to have one of these in my city. awesome staff and amazing food. if a sandwich could be framed and hung in the Louvre I'd submit one of these.

The subs were very tasty and made really well with fresh ingredients. The bread felt and tasted as if it was baked that morning, and the meats and vegetables were prepared just right. I highly recommend eating here! Fyi this is a Cash only Establishment.

I've been going to mellos for years, my husband and I have been frequent customers over the years and have always been treated very well, I called today and they have a new employee that answered my call and he was very rude to the point where I cancelled my order!! I simply asked to have one of my condiments on the side and he told me "that he could but it would be a pain" very poor...

Decent location, decent parking in the back. They took my order quick and had it done in a few minutes. Very friendly staff. Ordered a small sub and was very surprised with how big it was. Great bang for your buck.

My only complaint is they have a limited selection of meats/choices. Other wise, the sub was delicious and I left satisfied. ...
