Great location!! Always have had a positive experience whether delivery or carry out, and Iāve made over a few dozen orders during the last 5 years. Also, there are great deals/coupons whether National or location based, keeping them very competitive.
Dominoās has been my favorite pizza brand ever since they reinvented the recipe for the crust. Everyone loves the garlic seasoning; if you havenāt had it, youāre either a foreigner or seriously missing out under the rock that you live.
Today I got the mix-and-match two or more $5.99 items, getting a medium 12ā pepperoni pizza (tho I believe toppings are unlimited for the deal), Philly cheese steak, and honey bbq wings. They did charge an extra dollar for the wings though. Everything was hot and fresh, ready in about 20 minutes. I like that the sandwich is on this fantastic focaccia-sub-style bread, and itās not just a version of the pizza crust like Papa Johnās papadillas.
My only small complaint is that they charge for crushed red pepper and Parmesan packets, which was a corporate decision a few years back. I find that quite petty and aggravating, as a perfect example of companies who like to ānickel-and-dimeā you, literally.
Overall, this location is an A+ !!!! You really canāt get better for a franchise pizza place. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually order from Domino's, but this is the first time I ordered from the one in Clarendon Hills. When I ordered, the domino's tracker was still on the same "baking". I was wondering why it was taking so long to bake since I only ordered two smalls. So I then refreshed the page and saw that my order was ready about 20 minutes ago. So I went on to pick up my pizza and got home to "enjoy" my meal. I ordered one thin crust and one veggie pizza. I guess I had high expectations for the thin crust pizza, but when I bit into it it was not thin at all... Way below my expectations. Then I was like whatever, let me move onto my veggie pizza. When I bit into it, I was honestly disgusted. The crust was barely done, it was way too moist and way too chewy. I tried to look past it, but it was so bad that I had to put it bad in my oven for another 30 minutes.
It is needless to say that I was deeply disappointed in the Clarendon Hills Domino's experience, and I hope this does not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, I order from here often and it's typically pretty good. As such, I kind of want to give it a 3. But alas, when it's bad: it's BAD (and that's maybe 20% of the time). With this store specifically, the quality is entirely dependant on who THE ONE PERSON IN-STORE is at the time you place your order. It's pretty laughable that their order tracker has a segment for "quality check" sometimes when you see some of the stuff they knowingly crank out.
I had the absolute WORST experience this afternoon in the form of 2 flat cheesy breads (see picture) and 2 meatless chicken/bacon sandwiches. I might as well have flushed that money down the toilet. Dissapointment all-around.
Again, maybe they're understaffed and, honestly, I'm truly not expecting a culinary masterpiece here. I'll accept even a SMIDGEN of clear and obvious effort. But THIS? ... this...
