I had the worst experience ever in my lifetime of visits to Sonic. Ok,the drive-in was quite busy all three lanes so it was expected to wait a little while. But what extended the wait time was unbelievable. Today is a breezy day. The carhop headed to my car with my daughter food, just as he got to the end of the sidewalk he dropped the food, he picked the food up and examined it and then gave it a second thought and put it in the trash on the outside and took the rest of the order back inside. So after waiting a little longer, the same carhop brings the food back and as he heads towards my car, he drops the food a second time, he couldn’t believe it this time, so he didn’t bother to pick it up and he went back inside. The Security officer standing outside picked the food up and tried to give it to the carhop, he even followed inside with the food. I’m parked near the door so I’m yelling at the officer to put it in the trash, outside. As we had been sitting and waiting for our order, we had been watching two other carhoppers take out several orders and neither one dropped any thing. This carhopper whom I am speaking of, I had only seen him twice and that was the two times he attempted to bring the order. So after his second failed attempt, a woman brought the order to the car but it had only one item of the three item meal. So I asked this woman where is the rest of the order, by then we decided to get the money back. Since we paid with a card we were told it would take seven days to get it back on the card. The woman asked us for the receipt but she failed to interpret, the order never made it, therefore we didn’t have a receipt. I asked this woman for a supervisor or manager and she said she was her. Then she said, what’s wrong and then I said I just explained to you what happened. I had given her the details beforehand. So she went back in and come back with two items out of the three and went back inside. I press the buzzer again to remind them to bring the drink. This supervisor comes back with the drink. So I asked her what’s the solution for this carelessness. She was pretty much expressionless so I took it as she didn’t think it was a big deal, she said the wind was blowing but I had witness these other two carhoppers caring their trays with care. Read more2025 & STILL NOT WORTH IT! This location is the absolute worst sonics I've been to and I travel A LOT for work so I've been to plenty. The audacity of making me wait 40 minutes for an order that I made in the app before I even came, and then not bringing my food until I asked to cancel the order and give me a refund, and then bring me food that's obviously been sitting on a counter somewhere because the slushes were all liquid (barely any ice to them) and the food was lukewarm at best. Like three other cars came and left while I was sitting there. I try to give employees the benefit of the doubt because I don't know what sort of staffing issues or machine issues they may be working with. But for me to wait that long, call in 3 different times, and have the same person ask me each time what my order was.... And it came almost immediately once I asked for a refund... (Really suspicious) Last straw though: it's the complete lack of care or tiniest bit of customer service. Y'all could have reheated my food before you brought it out. You could have NOT put a whole lemon in my grape slush (I mean why even do that?). You could have APOLOGIZED for making me wait so long or for forgetting me three different times. But you did absolutely none of that. You do NOT have to worry about me wasting my money at this Clarksdale...
Read moreHello, this post is not to degrade nor deflect anyone, but there is a real problem with services received while visiting the Sonic in Clarksdale, MS., The workers at this particular eatery maybe very dissatisfied with their pay, hours being worked, management or co-workers. Reason being, I visited Sonic a couple of days ago, placed my order and received half done tots, burger was undercooked, and lemonade was just awful. Needless to say, the worker who brought out my food had such an ugly attitude. These young people doesn’t have any respect for themselves or their job, and does not have a clue and realize their pay and salaries is because of the customer or customers being served. I would recommend the whole management team as well as the whole staff be fired. One thing for sure, professional development and customer service is definitely needed at the Sonic in Clarksdale. We have to train our young people to be intelligent, productive, smart, passionate, professional, poised, and kind.
