Long post 🚨first, furniture is 100% nice…Caressa has good customer service, patience, and I can see her growing into a manager. Upon arrival, she quickly tired to help me and even called another person (who I later found out name was Don) to get me the best deal she could. She could tell I was wanting to stay within a certain budget (wasn’t the lowest or the highest budget). This my first transaction with Caressa…fast forward Mrs Liz (manager) comes in my quoted total immediately changed by $233 bucks. She explained that my discounts didn’t include the mattress and it didn’t have taxes added. I told her that Don told me that taxes was included and she wasn’t hearing it. I didn’t make a big deal of it and paid. After I paid, I noticed $149.99 charge for insurance that no one explained to me prior to charging me !!!! She said it was non refundable . I left and it kept bothering my mind so I called the store ….I ask about it again to seek a refund on insurance Liz and Caressa both explained that it’s mandatory and apart of company policy (my line automatically records due to my business). I told them it didn’t sound right no place forces insurance and I’m not bringing anything back. They wasn’t hearing me. I then mentioned the $80 that was overcharged with the mattress and box …I said I clearly remember Don giving my total. Liz immediately said I can give a store credit of $80. I knew I wasn’t coming back for a while so I was willing to buy something for my nephew…since I couldn’t get a refund. Why get a store credit when I’m not buying furniture often…
Luckily, I decided to call another No Place Like Home and ask them do they force customers to buy a $149 insurance on furniture. A male answered seeming confused and said no. I was talking to DON… didn’t even know. I explained it all and he got it adjusted. I was refunded $250.38. I’m sure they will tell him totally opposite 🤦🏽♀️.
I asked was they open on Monday (holiday) and I would send a guy to pickup … he arrive and they saying I had to call the warehouse myself to get the furniture. I immediately call the warehouse it’s not in the warehouse. I was told originally I was getting in store items…. I have to pay my pickup guy $60.00 rather he pick up or not. Waiting for updates … I never was told I should pick a certain day to pickup… update: the guy I paid is taking the furniture down and delivering it….no extra charge. He didn’t want to charge for an empty trip.
One purchase, I was in Hawaii when my furniture delivered (promised pieces that wasn’t apart of the deal). I try learning from my mistakes…I’m not hard to please …wheeeee…. I rather shop being comfortable and not having my guards up (like I’m being tricked). READ receipt...
Read moreIf I could leave no stars I would!! Bought a set of metal bunk beds from this place first off I had to pay at one place then go to their warehouse to pick it up. We sat at the warehouse for an hour waiting for the guy that was hiding in the back to finally come out and help us then when he finally did he was extremely rude and took the receipt so I have no receipt now and then told us to go outside and wait which ended up being another 30 minutes and we had to load it ourselves. Now only two weeks later and the weld on the beds has fallen apart. We're just happy our kids didn't get hurt when it happened. I will never buy anything else from this place and for the safety of your children I hope nobody else...
