Mama K’s is one of those places that reminds you why locally owned diners are irreplaceable. From the second you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile and a warmth that feels more like visiting family than walking into a restaurant. The space itself is cozy and unpretentious — clean tables, the smell of breakfast on the grill, and the hum of friendly conversation in the background.

The food? Pure comfort. I ordered breakfast, and everything tasted exactly how it should — fresh eggs cooked perfectly, bacon crisp but not overdone, and hash browns with that ideal golden-brown crust. The biscuit and gravy was the real standout: rich, peppery, and clearly made from scratch. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and every plate comes out hot and satisfying.

Went for lunch at 11:45 and my husband and I both ordered the turkey dinners. We were given water but never asked what else we wanted to drink. At 12:30 still no food. It came shortly after 12:30 but it was not the turkey dinner we ordered. They were serving us hot roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes!! Me and my friend went to try them for the first time today. I had the stuffed french toast and dear Lord it was the best meal I’ve had in a very very long time. So sweet and delicious that it didn’t need the syrup to help it along at all! The bacon and eggs were also yummy. Our server was very kind and funny and the cook brought the food out to us personally. The atmosphere was very nice, it made me feel right at home. I will be back and I would recommend this...
