La Laguna - Latin Market & Butcher shop — Restaurant in Clarksville

Hello my name is Brenda, i am a worker here at la laguna mexican market, i been working here for over 4yrs now, and I LOOOVE MY JOB, now i want to come on here and write my review, because i just want to say, that myself and my coworkers, we do THE BEEEST WE CAN, when it comes to customer service, some of you guys may not know, but working here is not just standing at the register, we also do other things, we have like 6jobs in one, so i will be honest NOT EVERYTIME we have the FULL time to give super detailed answers, when it comes to some stuff, since we r probably very busy attending other customers, we try our best to answer as much as we can, ALSO NOT IN A RUDE WAY, BUT MAYBE IN A FAST WAY..... trust me the myself and my coworkers WE LOVE OUR JOB WE LOVE WHAT WE DO, IS JUST LIKE IN EVERY JOB SOMETIMES IT CAN BE BUSY, AND WE JUST ASK FOR PATIENCE. This restaurant is great. Plenty of seating. Facility is clean. I always receive great service. Food is very authentic. I have eaten at this restaurant many time over the years and i have enjoyed all the dishes i tried. Their menu has english descriptions of the dishes and the servers are bilingual. You have to try the fresh fruit drinks. They have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu that you can order from at anytime. One can dine here or order to go. This time i ordered the Chilaquilles. Dish consist of side of rice, side of beans and thinly cut strips of tortilla. Fried to a crispy texture heated in a red (or green) sauce. Covered with choice of meat, dry white cheese and a dollop of sour cream. I choose small pieces of asada for the meat. There is also a store with Mexican products as well as a mini butcher shop to get your fresh chicharones and milanesa, soft drinks in the glass bottles or candies. Dining experinces have been very pleasant. I will definetly return again and i highly recommend...

Normally I have no issues with workers or food. But this was the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve worked at restaurants before. They charge to get things like tamarindo with no ice which is the first time it’s happened, carnitas and lengua tacos literally had no flavor and were just greasy when biting it. The tamarindo was sour lime juice left in a car too long. Had the prison I was with taste it in case it wasn’t me and it tasted funny to them too. The last was very rude when she was speaking and acted like I didn’t have a clue what it’s supposed to taste like, when I told her multiple times I’ve had it from pulp to the actually thing and was a bit snarky when she said she tasted it, tasted fine to her and they wouldn’t serve it if it didn’t. Other places would replace it no problem with them since I had the tiniest sip wanted to charge the whole price, then half price and another to get something different. I wouldn’t...
