Michael's Pizza & More — Restaurant in Clarksville

We were traveling back to Indiana from Florida and found Michael's Pizza & More online and decided to give it a try, since the reviews were good. As Business owners we were disappointed to see almost all the employees texting/on their phones. No one was wearing gloves or hair nets. A couple of the employees were playing with/ running their hands around in their hair. Counting money, chewing on their finger nails. never saw any one wash their hands before touching food. One employee put the ordered mixers on the floor prior to putting them in the cooler for customers to pick-up. No customer service or hygiene skills by the employees were demonstrated especially with Covid still being a major health hazard.

The bread sticks come with a "special sauce" also known as cold tomato paste. Asked about nacho cheese, was told they had a garlic butter; then had to ask a 2nd time about getting it before we were told it was an additional cost, like we couldn't afford it or something. The small pizza, which we were told is cut into 6 pieces was only 4. We literally saw around 10 different employees there and only 1 or 2 was working. The only thing good about our experience was that the food, minus the bread sticks, wings and pizza were really good. Would not recommend. Happy to speak to the manager or owner about our experience, which I asked twice about getting a receipt but was told we couldn't get one because we paid cash, so I would have an order #, date, time, etc. Today is Friday, March 18th. First time eating here as I'm fairly new to Clarksville. Let's just say this place was below average. I have a couple complaints, some that I see others have mentioned in their reviews as well.

The breadsticks I ordered were literally still doughy when I got home... they looked like they rolled them out and forgot to bake them. I had to throw them in the oven when I got home. Also, they tasted just like bread, no garlic or butter on them at all.

I ordered a Large thin crust pizza and firstly, I thought they gave me the incorrect size as it looked extremely small to be a 'Large'... seemed more like a Medium.

I ordered a half hawaiian/half chicken bacon ranch and the pizza had little to no toppings on it... felt like I was just eating breading and sauce with every bite.

I also ordered 20 wings and I can't even do a half and half for sauces? First place I've ever ordered wings and you can't do more then 1 sauce.

The wings were undercooked and the skin/breading had no crisp to it at all... was a slimy texture.

Only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the cookies were delicious and the staff was friendly. I 100% will not...

I eat here often, and I have made a review a few years back. I always get the same thing a BLT sub with extra mayonnaise, extra bacon no tomato. Tonight my sandwich was awful. There was absolutely no mayonnaise on my sandwich, my bacon was next to burnt, I had tomato and my bread, I don't even believe was a 6-in all the way. It was so thin I don't know if the baking was off today or what, But I had a slim Jim sub 😂, All I'm saying is Michaels please tighten up I know it's Friday, I know y'all are busy but y'all can't slouch on the food and the service. I don't plan on moving around and going to another pizza spot when I want a sub or a pizza. I love it here, so please let's get it together. I tip y'all especially the young folks because I know y'all trying to make y'all coins I've been there I've done that. But in order to keep a customer happy you have to continue to give them the best quality product that you are selling, along with the customer service. Okay guys hopefully this will be the only bad review that I have to post....
