Went there to pick up an order. The girl I placed order with was new ( first day) no problem. I placed order paid for items (3) items cost, one $4 two were $2.50 and only two of the three items came to window. I let new girl know was missing one item. That was it. Nothing more nothing less. Then this old crabby lady (staff) starts barking at me about how I need layoff the new girl, it's her first day... WHAT??... I simply asked where the last item in my was was that I paid for. Nothing more nothing less. Then this old crabby lady said if you want last item you're going to have to pay for it. Ok, I did already but she wasn't worth arguing over with so I just paid another $2.50 to get last item for our order. If the crabby old lady would have bothered to look it was clearly written down by the new girl at the time the order was placed and paid for, but, the old lady rather yell at a customer because of her screw up. We won't be returning and after hearing from others this is a common practice there. So if you want ice cream without drama I would suggest going elsewhere, and if you're the owner (crabby old lady) maybe it's time to either sell and move on or go get some customers service skills because the one's you...

This is a very low-key local ice cream shop. They always have good food (ice cream as well as hot dogs and chips, pop, sides). The amount of food you get for the price is reasonable, and the service is fine. This is a seasonal business, so be sure they are open if it's not summer. In terms of the food and service, the ice cream and other food they've got is nice, while the employees working there are amazing. With the atmosphere, there is no way it doesn't get a 5. A bike trail lays adjacent to it, which leads to the nearby quarry and homecoming grounds, and even to Elmore and beyond! Nice pit...
