This was our first time visiting and it was amazing! Easily one of the best tea rooms we have had the pleasure of enjoying, and we have gone to several tea rooms over the years. We came to celebrate Mother's Day and had a lovely experience. I made a reservation for six people several weeks ago and even over the phone the staff was pleasant and helpful. We decided to order off the menu instead of doing the special Mother's Day tea service. The food and drink selection was impressive. I had the white blueberry tea with a scone, clotted cream and jam. It was delicious, as was the fruit bowl and roast beef sandwich. My family members had salads, wraps, breakfast sandwiches and mini waffles. For dessert we had brownies and strawberry cookies. Everything was tasty, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. The décor is whimsical and charming. I had fun looking around at all the tea cups and tea pots on display. These are small things, but they affect the experience if the customer feels they're imposing by requesting a new plate and more cream. Let me be clear, no one was rude. The servers were professional and knowledgeable,...

One day we passed through Claton by while checking out the local antique store and were pleasantly surprised with the sight of a tea shop next door.
Stepping inside inside the theme immediately grabs you with well spaced fancy upscaled tables with covers your favorite grandmother would have. Vintage tea cups are displayed on the wall in upcycled vintage shelves, display cases are filled with vintage and modern tea sets anyone can appreciate.
The food is great, flavourful and portions are not too much, not too little. I like experimenting with tea flavors and foods and so far my personal favorite is jam penny with lady earl grey...
