Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar — Restaurant in Clear Lake

I would have given 4 stars for atmosphere but then I presented myself to the men’s bathroom. My poor son went first to poo. There was no toilet seat, no lock on bathroom door(the outer door to bar), no walls or door around toilet and no toilet paper. He was distraught and didn’t know if he should wipe his bum with the old-school hand reusable cloth wipey thing. I had to stand outside bathroom so that nobody would walk in on the spectacle. Apparently the women’s room had 3 world-class stalls with toilet paper and locks on all of the doors. As a man, you might want to decide to identify as a woman if you have to poo in this establishment. Also bring your own toilet paper, toilet seat, “occupied” sign(or put your sock on door knob) and hand sanitizer. So the men’s room is kind of like a combination of a prison cell and a old-school stadium trough set-up. I forgot to mention the 3 man trough urinal which all men despise. Avoid the beanie chili...

My friend and I came to have drinks after work around 3pm Friday, October.7 ,2016. as it got later in the day around 6pm we wanted to sober up and have water. There were 3 bartenders: 2 men and 1 women. I asked 1 of the men to fill up a water glass for my friend and I. I clearly remember him saying to me "I'm too busy for that." so we left knowing we weren't getting any water. and guess where my friend ends up... the HOSPITAL because she was too dehydrated from not getting enough water, while drinking at Rookies. The spinach artichoke dip is by far the best I've had anywhere. It's a massive serving with your choice of deep fried pita bread (my preference) or tortilla chips. The dip is creamy with a lot of parmesan cheese but they also add red pepper flakes for a delish background heat that sends it over the top.
