It's not very often that you visit a new place without any idea of what to expect. Chances are that more often than not, we choose to play it safe and pick something familiar to us off of the menu. Saturday was no ordinary day. I walked in with no knowledge of what to expect from the menu, so I decided to place a safe order of a sandwich and to try something new. I ordered a cup of their split pea soup.
Believe me when I tell you that the Split Pea soup was a HIGHLIGHT of my day. I was sceptical when it first came as I had never had it before. I used my spoon to stir it up a bit and took a hearty piece of ham into the spoon and proceeded to take my first bite. To this day, this was by far the VERY BEST SOUP I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I'll have to visit again to try out Anna's fine dinning upstairs! What a gem I found...
