Tequila's — Restaurant in Clearlake

Hi everyone I just want to let everyone know that this place is a rip-off I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt about three times they give very small portions of meat or anything of the sort when it comes to their food they have cheap prices but they are not honest people I know other things about them that is not honest either... they don't comply with the health rules of clearlake and county.. they serve food that is not even from here and they violate all the food and health codes. I know for a fact because I talked to the health guy who was inspecting them Iam going to try to contact somebody to shut this restaurant down because of the unsanitary stuff that they are doing here along with all the rules they are breaking on a money and business level ..hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's true. I do not recommend this place and it was so bad I am going to go out of my way to try to shut them down. I do not want people to spend their money here and get food poisoning or hurt by their food. Not to mention the vibe I got here was the vibe feeling that somebody of A different race was not welcome I felt very uncomfortable the time I went at night because I was surrounded by people that did not speak English and they did not want me there. I totally recommend that somebody please investigates the legality of the people that come here and if they should even be working for the United...

Service with an attitude.. The server made a mistake on an order that was talked about in great detail as we ordered it. We went over what we wanted multiple times. Rice makes my husband sic so asked to increase the other ingredients in the burrito to eliminate the rice we even agreed to pay more for more meat to fill the wrap. When we got our food it was wrong, nothing we asked had been done. It was a normal burrito packed with rice.

When we asked for the order to be fixed how we had asked for it to be in the first place. She claimed that we did not ask for it to be different. The people next to us said !!!"Yes,they did! We all joked about it together with you standing here".

She stated welllllll it wouldn't be fair for the cooks to have them remake it.

We asked how fair it was for us to get something we didn't ask for! she never told them what we wanted!!! And she wanted us to pay for her mistake. And we did end up paying for something we didn't...

First of all if you’re black I suggest you avoid this sorry excuse for an establishment entirely. My husband and I went to have dinner and waited over 40 minutes just to get chips and salsa and then another 15 just for waters. The place was basically empty when we showed up then it started to fill up and it seemed everyone but us was getting the help they needed while we were ignored entirely. The food the last time we went was absolutely unpalatable my dog probably wouldn’t have eaten it but I thought I’d give it another shot.
