I dont often write reviews but I feel compelled to warn other ice cream lovers and hopefully encourage this place to improve the way it runs its business.

I read all of the reviews before going.. I had my concerns but I decided to roll the dice anyway because I was desperate for soft serve ice cream (my favorite). It was open late and walking distance from where I was so I walked over.

Right away, the vibes in there were rancid. My sister and I greeted the two employees because they were both squatting behind the counter at opposite ends of the store on their phones. They did not say anything in response, just stood there and stared at us. I work in the service industry so I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just an off night.

I asked to try a sample of the vanilla and chocolate soft serve. The vanilla tasted awful...which I feel is difficult to mess up. The chocolate was not very good but it was edible enough. The texture of the soft serve was poor, not anything like typical soft serve. It was more like frozen yogurt consistency.

The store was a bit dirty and there were dead bugs around the counter where you order and near the waffle cones.

In a moment of weakness, I ordered a small chocolate soft serve in a cake cone. It was nearly $7.....for bad ice cream and a STALE cone. Hear me out, I always finish my ice cream, but this was so bad I threw it out in the trash outside. I should have gone in and asked for a refund, I was so disappointed I even ordered in the first place.

Heed my warning, this place is bad. Nothing at all like the REAL Kohr soft serve joints in New Jersey beaches. They're just cashing in on a familiar name. 0 out of 10. Would not recommend even of you're desperate...

Okay, I have to leave a review because I was not pleased with this experience.

First, I want to say that the two staff we met were friendly. But that was the only positive point.

I have never not finished my ice cream but this place was a first. I ordered a mint chocolate chip sundae. It was $11 for the TINIEST little sundae ever. I mean it was ridiculously small. The cup was designed so it went in at the bottom, but was wide at the top, perhaps to give the illusion you are having something substantial. Total rip-off just based on size alone. Such a tiny cup of ice cream should cost $6-$8, maximum. I attached a picture of the cup to show you, after I had emptied the remainder of the contents in the garbage.

But it doesn't end there because the TASTE wasn't very good either. It's difficult to explain but the fudge was too salty and possibly the chocolate chips in the ice cream were too salty too. There was a weird flavor present, again possibly with the fudge-- I'm not entirely sure where it was coming from. On the plus side, the mint flavor was actually pretty good and the whipped cream was the standard aerosol can whip cream, so of course it tasted fine.

But after eating more than half, I just kind of put the thing down and decided not to finish it because the taste wasn't worth the calories. This is unusual because I ALWAYS finish my ice cream! I often eat too much ice cream.

I think this shop must rely on tourists who never come back any way, because they wouldn't likely be getting repeat business with an experience like this. They certainly won't be getting MY repeat business. There are far better ice cream places elsewhere,...

The woman was so inconvenienced to serve us ice cream. She was sour and rude. We are a family of 5 with quiet kids and we’re the only ones there. The ice cream was also not good but the service was so bad. Sorry we spent $40 on ice cream. Lame.

I actually threw away my vanilla custard. It was not good. I don’t know how to explain it but it was weird and not good. I have had custard at many ice cream shops and this isn’t it. Gross

Update: The owner responded to this post that I had the wrong location and that there were not three boys working here. I do not have the wrong location. I know where I spent $40 on really poor quality ice cream and even worse service. Nor did I mention that there were boys working at this ice cream shop it was a lady in her 30’s Who does not want to work there. Just look at the other reviews on this place ,man I wish we were...
