This Pizza is the real deal! I have eaten many many pizzas and given my snobby New Yorker critique on a lot of different pizzas. This is by and far the best pizza around. The spot is a corner store hole in the wall that brings back so many good memories of my NY hometown. The staff here really made the extra effort to make me welcome and a cool place to hang out with my brother and wife. Now to rave about this pizza! HOLY MOLY the 24” pizza is the best thing in town! It was a perfectly cooked pizza that was even amazing to eat as cold left overs crust and all. The chicken wings are also to rave about. The medium sauce was spot on and the wings were cooked perfectly. Only thing is I would just ask for them to be extra saucy next time, but the sauce is stick to your bones delicious! Lastly my wife recently got a salad last time just to try. She even has a phobia of pizza shop salads, which I think is hilarious. Pizza shops in NY make killer salads, and they sure make a point to have killer salads as well! I have been coming here for the last year as my exclusive pizza joint. Read moreOrdered a chicken bacon ranch and honey hot pie with some garlic knots as a side. $60 total for the meal. The pros: gotta say probably the best knots Ive ever had. Tasted fresh crispy outter, warm buttery and soft in middle and they are HUGE. I thought the price was a little high for them but when I got them they were justified. So good. The pies crust was great and has that crisp to it and the no fold was nice but the cons: the pizzas were cold, the honey hot was more honey and no heat. I was sad because visually they hit the spot but only eating a single slice of each before wanting to go back to the garlic knots is not what this big back is used to doing. A few bites in and I couldn't help but ask if I was getting a reheated pie or if this was one if those "cold fire/stone" pizzas Ive seen on tik tok and thats just the style or what it was but a cold pizza isnt for me unless its a next day after a beer out the fridge type. Before moving here, I owned two Pizza shops in Brooklyn New York, so I feel qualified to evaluate the food. The pie was very good. Assembled different from mine, however, very good. And yes I will order it again. The knots were prepared as they should be. They were golden brown and thick enough to provide for a soft, very light moistured interior. They should never be bone dry. Most people do not understand the Pizza Business and how they work, so most negative reviews you read here are not justified. Example, I did not deliver. I did not need to, nor did I want to.
