China Dragon — Restaurant in Cleveland Heights

Terrible food! We ordered standard meals, which came to a steep pricetag for what it was. The meat was overcooked & bland, with way too much sauce & watery sauce at that. Even the dried chili peppers were bland. These people have been in business for years, but it's never been good. If you want evidence, see the photo that says they serve "General Toe's Chicken" but also note the prices are listed weird on the menu. The owners don't bother actually fixing their menu with new prices or getting new labels made up with new items. It's just mediocre all around. The people working there are clearly working hard, but the product that results from their efforts is awful compared to the excellent pan-Asian cuisines to be found in the area in almost any direction. They have a massive menu with too many dishes, and I suspect none of what they prepare will be any better than...

When I get Chinese takeout I usually go to Asian Delight in Warrensville. Their spare ribs and shrimp rolls are my favorite on the menu, but their food in general is delicious. They're friendly and clean. China Dragon on the other hand disappointed me more than once. Every time I tried their spare ribs, they were very bony, not as tender, and too salty. Their shrimp roll had one shrimp and tasted stale. Their wonton soup had me on the toilet and I have a very tolerable stomach. They act like you're bothering them when you stand there waiting to order. This usually don't bother me, but when it's consistent I have an issue. This place deserves 0 stars, please do not eat here. The lady working the counter and the 2 men that work in the kitchen never wear masks or wash their hands and are rude and nasty. I was completely blown away when I saw the cook using his bare hands he just coughed in to grab shrimp out of a bucket sitting on the floor under a cabinet to reheat along with reheating some fried rice from an old bucket on the floor to make shrimp fried rice for $11.50.
