This store was a hot mess! It literally looked like a Dollar Tree with power tools. I have never seen it look this trashy in over 20 years. Garbage everywhere, main aisles blocked where I could not get my mobility scooter through. Abandoned appliances and it's cardboard left in main walkways that made them impassable. A caucasian man with hair tied back in a ponytail and a apron that said "store manager" walked past me no less than 3 times and said NOTHING even as I was looking on my phone and trying to find aisle numbers. At least 10 associates walked past me with no contact or offered assistance. If he really was the store manager, I can understand how the associates did not give a damn about customers because they are following his example. The young lady who checked me out didn't even thank me for shopping or tell me to have a nice day. I was a hassle to her because her nails were too long to operate the 'malfunctioning' touch screen. There were so many ADA violations that also were fire code issues. This location is 3 minutes from my house and I still will drive to another location 20 or 30 minutes out of the way for both my personal and professional needs if I can help it. Such a disappointment. I am glad to see the associates like talking to each other because they for darn sure don't like talking to their customers.

I really hope that someone from Home Depot sees this review. I was trying to check the time status for my delivery scheduled for tomorrow. The first person that I spoke with tried to tell me I didn't even have an order at all. The second person I spoke with put me on hold and left me there for almost 13 minutes. The third time I called I asked for the name of the person I was speaking to, they asked me who I needed to speak to and I told them I guess a manager because no one there wants to do their job and she hung up on me. Twice more they transferred me to people's answering machines where I left slightly detailed messages about my aggravation with this. And finally after another 2 minutes of trying to contact someone, Daisy was able to answer my question in less than 60 seconds. This was ridiculous! I suggest you guys really do some customer service work there! The business account I am under their spends roughly $100,000 a year with you guys. I know that's not much big corporation but I'm sure you wouldn't want it to end up going somewhere else. Please feel free to contact me regarding this matter.

I have encountered VERY knowledgeable people who work here over the years but I do still have a problem with this location. I almost rather drive the distance to go to the next closest location which isn't very close at all.

The inventory is never correct for one thing. There are items that for some reason you cannot do store pick-up for and you also cannot get delivered and when you go to find it in the store, it doesn't exist. You can see it online as having multiple in stock but when you get there it isn't there.

I've had a very bad pick-up experience in the past which I reported but I am sure nothing was done about it. I ordered ONE SMALL ITEM. I needed to pick it up and rush to a meeting. I was sure this would be no problem. I get there, check in on the app and start to wait for the item to be brought out. I believe the app told me they would be out shortly. I waited and after about 13 minutes passed I started to get impatient so I called the store and I'm not sure if I got an answer immediately. I think I found another number and got through and asked to speak to customer service for pick-up and was told that they would be out with my item. I waited some more and still nothing. So I go inside pretty upset and let them know how long I had been waiting for ONE SMALL item that I needed to just be able to get pretty quickly. I ordered it because I didn't have time to go inside and wait in line. I thought pick-up would be faster than 30 mins plus of a wait... It was not. They lied on the phone. When I went inside, no one had even started to look for my item. They didn't even have it prepared. ONE SMALL ITEM was not prepared. I ordered it far enough in advance and it wasn't prepared for the pick-up order. Not to mention the line for customer service was long so I had to wait to even speak to them. It was a complete mess.

It is crazy because I have experience and tried working for them. I have great work ethic but they must only want to hire lazy folk from what I see in these comments. It must be friends of the manager or something. There are helpful people in some areas but the rest are the types of people I don't even want to ask for help because you likely wont get an answer. The customer service and pick-up staff seem to have gotten worse. Maybe hire people who actually want to work. Not just people you personally like or know. They may not be the best workers....

It's true: you are all but invisible to the employees unless you are one. Should you actually find one of their mythical existence, they won't know anything about what you need to find because they will belong to another department and know what's in their own store about as well as an infrequent shopper.

Last time I was at a register (only one open, all the rest were just self checkout), the cashier had to come back to it, not really interrupting her conversation with the other employees who were guarding the self checkouts. Her register froze in the middle of the transaction. Got the feeling from the way she responded that it was a common occurrence, so I guess if they're using ancient software, it's no surprise about the data breach.

This last trip, I went about 2 new cabinet door panels. I spoke to the guy sitting in the desk in the kitchen cabinetry area, who asked me about all about it, then gave me authoritative advice like he had no idea, telling me I should go directly to the manufacturer (for 2 door panels!) and then come to find, it's not even his area. He was just sitting there. He told me to wait for the actual salesperson, who was busy. I couldn't see losing more time, I'll figure something else out.

Among our current repairs, this morning, the contractors painting for us came back with two of two paint colors wrong. They had been circled on the paint chip card. Home Depot had entered the numbers in wrong into their color mixer. I'm so glad I found out before everything had been painted wrong.

Never go here to have keys made. Last time I went for that, years back, after the third trip with the set redone, I just wanted my money, went to the hardware store on Coventry (Thank God they are still in existence) and they got it right the first time. So these problems have been ongoing for a while now. I wish you could get larger appliances and cabinet doors through them, then I'd never need to set foot in a Home Depot.

I hope the hardware store on Coventry never goes away. The Home Depot model is one of a warehouse where you must search over acres, forever, to find things on your own, and then check it out yourself. While...

Worst Home Depot ever .. everyone is standing around on their phones , asking for help isn't something familiar to their staff because either they don't know how to help you , they don't work in that section nor knows how to get someone from that section or wait for it 😔😔 they just have a stank ATTITUDES.. was there today for paint was there an hour for 2 cans of paint ...Off the shelf paint... And what I couldn't understand was why did I have to wait an hour for her to come grab the cans right in front of me...how come she just didnt grab the paint while we were in front of it🤔, I told her when I met her at the desk I'm unfamiliar with this my contractor usually does this . She took into a aisle and just pointed in a direction, said it's down there and turned and left me standing there...for at least 30 mins I stood there not knowing what to do My account there is PRO so you would think that could earn you some benefits like being pleasant or at least do their jobs ...NO their on the phone or talking to each other so much so I waited for sometime to be assisted. Then here's the attitude when you say something about it 😔😔 But wait it gets better ... Rather than dealing with the atmosphere there I ordered online for pickup 🤣🤣🤣 that was a joke , not only did I sit in 90 degree weather waiting, it wasn't for my items but just to alert them of my arrival. I ended up with me going in where I was faced with nobody knowing how to help me when I finally figured it out I had to go to customer service desk 🤷where I was met with attitude, smart talking service reps and my order wasn't completed.....but wait here's the kicker ...I had to take my thing out to my own car and still didnt get what i paid for . I hate my account is there and it's the closest to me but I will be looking into something different really soon because as a property manager I need the supplies but HOME DEPOT SEVERANCE SUCKS and I will be looking into something different really really soon 🤔🤔🤨 Do...
