Uber Delivery Order - Driver attempted to confirm order and the restaurant staff refused, laughed at the driver and told them "Why, do they tip US?" They never acknowledged the order or the end customer, and genuinely pointed to the door and a sign that says they don't help confirm Uber orders. This driver had a learning disability and was hoping for help understanding their receipt to confirm correct food. Source - I'm the driver. In 3 cities over 3 months, I've never had a restaurant be anything other than helpful or maybe just busy. They usually want you, the customer, to be happy with your food. This stood out to me so much that I decided to make a review for anyone thinking of ordering delivery. Maybe they're good if you dine in, or even if you order your own pickup. I wouldn't do uber eats or anything with them, though. They didn't seem happy to have that business, or like it mattered to them. Instead, try Angie's Soul Food Diner. That place *wouldn't let me leave* until they confirmed orders with the customers. They wanted everything to be perfect for you. Moral of the story, if you're ordering delivery through an app, pick a restaurant who values your business. Posting screenshots as evidence of deliveries to both restaurants, this one, which I don't recommend as a driver, and Angies Soul Food Diner, which I do recommend.

I always enjoy this mom /pop restaurant. But today was totally different. Let me start by saying even in CoVID days it was standing room waiting to be seated. Today @ 9:15 a.m it was approximately 5 to 7 people seated. The staff didn't greet us as they usually do. It appears that they we're fully staff. Some staff were working on pick up orders and others were chilling. Food came out on-time under 7-10 minutes. Our waitress was nice but forgot items to our order and she did not come and check on our table. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. It was not appealing to sat at a table that was not cleaned. The basket filled with coffee creamer was nasty. The salt and pepper shakers had dried food on them. Although the coffee was good, no saucer for my coffee. I don't think I will return again.

I don’t know what’s been going on but last time I ordered they gave me a nut muffin instead of what I initially ordered. They didn’t attempt to tell me. Then argued with me about it. I’m allergic to nuts. Not much more than can be said. I was told to call and let them know my next order to replace it. Okay, cool. I call to tell them and whoever the gentleman was that I spoke to was extremely rude and rushed me saying they are extremely busy which must be the case because my food was entirely uncooked. Not undercooked, like so raw it’s mush under my fork. But they don’t care. Every order the past couple months has been like this. Which is disappointing because they used to put effort and quality behind the food they served. Guess times have changed.

Apologies up front for a long post…. I work with Restoration 1 water mitigation and take a lot of pride in providing catered breakfast/lunches for my plumbing friends.

A close second is supporting our local family businesses in the areas I’m in. Angela’s Family Restaurant scored a definite 10 for us this morning! September 15, 2021

Not only was our delivery to AAA Advance Plumbing on time - which believe me is a huge deal when you’re on a limited schedule with a crazy busy industry - it was delicious and hot and well set up.

Our delivery person (I can only assume he works there as well), was not only extremely courteous he really cared about the food he was delivering. He wanted to make sure we were happy with everything.

Even though this was my first order with Angela’s Family Restaurant, it definitely will not be my last!

Supporting our local businesses is extremely important especially now, and coming together as a community to support one another is critical. The care that was put into our order shined through!

Thank you for the great breakfast this morning, Angela’s Family Restaurant!! The group...
