Royal Pizza — Restaurant in Cleveland

Called to place my order for pizza person who answered the phone wasn't very pleasant, I asked how many cuts was in a medium and he said we don't have nothing like that here, only 6/8 cute, so aft placing my order he said about 25min at 4:23pm, didn't say How much just hung up. I picked my pizza up at 16:53pm, says their receipt. That was the worst pizza, hard, burned, dry, a lot of pepperoni and a few old sausage crumbles. Hardly not sauce and dried out cheese. My husband and I took two bits out of a slice each and couldn't chew it, crusty was very hard and burned. He said they never do this, call them back, when I did, he said I'll tell them in the back and hung up. I called back to see if my "replacement" was about ready, was asked what was wrong with it, then was told if you ate half the pizza they couldn't do anything, I was bringing the pizza back so they could see. I gave them such high praise on my last review, and when I was going out the door excited about their pizza and getting home to enjoy it. I would not go through all of that trouble and drive all the way back to the store because I wanted a free pizza! Too tired, too hungry and too much gas! They lost a good customer who spoke highly of them. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisment. We were so disappointed. Wasted $10.75 Plus gas and time. Was our last visit. My coworker and I decided to order pizza for lunch, went to this place called Royals Pizza, our first time there, asked how long has he been here for small talk, and we both will have to assume he was the owner, the man’s response was very rude and nasty with an nasty tone, and he said, you ain’t never been here!? Our answer, No. him: Well I been here for 40 years! With a tone as if we were bothering him. This man continued to make pizza after pizza with no gloves on. We watched him grab food with build a pizza, then wipe his hand’s on the apron!!! No water, soap or even hand sanitizer.!!!! Not to mention worder in and when asked how much the pizza, Mister, hung up on us. Once there still waited for the pizza to get done. We had a great experience. The two guys working were very friendly and complimentary. They gave us a discount on our already pretty cheap pizza and hoped to see us back. Unfortunately we live in another state, otherwise we’d be among their many regulars. We met a lot of their other regulars who were also very friendly.
