Carmino’s Pizza — Restaurant in Cleveland

I do NOT RECOMMEND this business. We had not ordered from Carmino’s in awhile, and decided to last night. I ordered pizza and fried zucchini. The pizza arrived cold, there was no stringing of the cheese, no heat on the crust. Overcooked. Cold. The fried zucchini was so overcooked that it was no longer brown, just burnt. I called within five minutes of receiving the order. I was told that I could have a store credit, or he could send me out another order. I told him it was late, I was tired and did not want to wait for them to remake it. I did not want a store credit, I know it was a couple years ago, but the last time they issued a store credit when I called to order a pizza, they knew nothing about one. I requested a refund for this order. I said he was welcome to come back and get the order. He said that when his driver came back he would send him to pick up the order. I told him that was fine, that I would put the order right back on the table on the front porch that he delivered it to. Nobody ever came. I called back nobody answered but I left a message. Nobody ever came to pick up the order, so a big old possum decided to get in the order tear up the box everything all over my porch. I called today about an hour after they opened to inquire, and he said he had thrown the charge out. When I made the order, it shows up as pending in my account… When they call for the money, it then gets posted. This shows up as posted from my account. The money has now already been taken out of my account. I told him that. He said he can’t do anything about that. I said, yes, I need a refund. He said I have done all that I am going to do, take it up with your bank. I explained to him again how it works with my bank, pending/posted. His reply to me was …what part of what I said don’t you understand. I did say, after a couple times of him talking to me this way, wow, you are really rude. Again he said to me, what part of this don’t you understand. I said I understand well. I also understand that maybe since you didn’t do what you said, you should come and clean up my porch because the order you told me to leave for your driver and the box is all over. NEVER …Never never never … Will I order from this place again. Their pizza and food is not that good, and their customer service stinks … very very rude. And if you decide to order from here… Beware… Because if something is wrong with your order… Don’t count on it being made right.

I remember when Scott’s mom and dad ran the place. Carmino’s was the only place we ordered from!

We wanted fried chicken and a big salad. Never tried it here before. We liked the chicken. I thought the jo-jos were alright. The dinners come with a roll and choice of potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad. I picked up my food, went to my car, looked in the bags and didn't see any potato salad so I went back in. The guy (probably the manager on duty) gave me a potato salad lickety split, very polite. He handed it to me in a white paper bag that weighed next to nothing. Got to my car and looked in the bag. It was a TINY souffle cup with about 2 bites of potato salad. Ordering online we had no idea what size side to expect, so the size of the potato salad had me laughing. Why bother? I looked again the box of chicken and there it was: the potato salad I thought they forgot. 1. I wasnt expecting a tiny cup 2. They put it (cold potato salad) in the box with the hot food instead of with the salad like i would have thought 3. It was hiding under a flap of parchment paper. I hope the guy didn't think I was lying to get another potato salad 😅 Overall though, the food was good and reasonably priced. I would get the chicken again, but I will also be trying other places simply because we are interested in what the area has to offer. We have had their pizza before. The first time it was amazing, all subsequent times it was just ok. When we want pizza, Carmino's is not our first choice but it certainly...

This place is amazing! Everything from the delicious food with flavors that melt in your mouth to the absolutely amazing service! Called a couple days ago to order a bacon chicken and ranch pizza (which was amazing if I may add), and then went to pick it up when ready. Once I got there, I grabbed the pizza, then hopped in the car and headed home. Only at the house did I realize they had given me the wrong order: an entirely vegetarian pizza (quite a contrast to the very meaty pizza I had). I called them, and they told me to come back to swap the pizzas. When I got there, they apologized for the inconvenience, and even told me I could keep the vegetarian pizza, which was great due to me having a vegetarian family member at the house.
