So I've only been to this location twice. The first time I cant and I went thru the drive thru and they messed up my drink order. Asked if they could remake my drink and the lady said no. Came by again this morning to get an iced coffee and use their internet since only internet doesn't work at home atm. Anyways , waited until someone came to the front counter (was only standing and waiting like not even five minutes maybe 3. I ordered my usual go too drink which is a large iced coffee w 3 creams, and extra ice. The manager who gave it to me was rude af. And I looked at the tag and back and my receipt thzir was hardly any ice in the drink. I asked the guy who took my order if he could remake it and he did. He apologized for the manager bc she is super rude. And I feel bad for the employees here bc that manager is just super rude to everyone including customers. After the guy remade my drink the manager had an issue w it. And scolded me. I politely told her it hardly had any ice in it and I had asked for extra ice.
Basically: last two times I've been here they have screwed up my drink. And it's not that difficult to make an iced coffee w 3 creams (or 4 milks) and extra ice. Don't come here unless you want really bad customer service. I e worked in the food industry and let me just say this place is like maybe a 4.5. Their seating is open and everything is clean. Their parking lot is also nice w ample places to park. Its just the managers who run this one don't care about customers or their employees. Don't recommend. I just go to the dunkin in Lakewood or the one...
Read moreI have always hated every single location of Dunkin donuts in Akron, and they have a huge amount of locations in Akron. Every time I went to one in Cleveland or Canton though, I loved it. The donuts usually at least tasted fresh and weren't close to becoming hard as a rock and they don't continue selling the same exact donuts all day long that were delivered from the warehouse where they were made, late at night the night before. That's disgusting. Why would they need to deliver a donut shops daily supply of donuts lae at night over six hours before they open. Especially since the Akron has a local main warehouse location. And they shouldn't be expected to sell the same donuts all day long from the hour when they open for business for the day,all the way until they close up for the night. that's why I wish this area still had more Krispy Kreme locations in Akron and Canton. Krispy Kreme, you can go there and have a traditional classic original glazed donut and if you're only ordering a few donuts, they make the donut after you order it and you can watch the process the donut goes through. And on large size orders, they won't make them right after you place the order, but they do begin starting the donuts as soon as they are finished with every order before yours, and don't use donuts that have been just sitting there on the shelf in the store all day long, just gathering mode and more germs and bacteria that stays built up inside the food and grows worse with every customer...
Read moreThere were low expectations heading into my breakfast at this Dunkin Donuts (Lakewood). I will start by apologizing for piling onto an already high number of scathing reviews regarding sloppy service but here goes…
The good:
…Parking was efficient…that’s about it (two stars)…
I am fully convinced you could order a medium black coffee and a plain bagel with cream cheese and your order would be messed up nine times out of ten.
I ordered four wake up wraps without cheese (lactose intolerant) and they all came with cheese. The real robbery is the fact that I checked my carry out order while already sitting in the car.
Seeking something edible I peeled apart a friend’s breakfast sandwich (so to avoid cheese) that he was ready to discard after a few unimpressive bites. His opinions were right on the money as it couldn’t have been a worse taste. Dry, grainy and overall garbage wrapped in tissue paper sold for $3.75.
Breakfast is a trash meal to begin with and this just made the experience that much more worse.
The one breakfast item that I enjoyed was the bottled water grabbed from the cooler.
Stay far away. Grab a folgers at home and eat a slice of...
