Gyro Guys — Restaurant in Cleveland

I never knew this place existed. I stopped in just by surprise noticed them just driving by . I have been into Gyros since who knows when. I have been to most of the Gyro joints around, I gotta tell you this, this is NOT your run of the mill Gyro place that just slices the meat off the spit and slaps it on a pita, nope! This stuff is slow cooked, sliced and it's perfect. Not all salty like most and No burnt crispy edges on the meat. This stuff is cooked to perfection. And the Pita is so fresh you won't believe how fresh. OMG, I had to go back again today. I'm saying, your knees will buckle with one good bite. Ya gotta eat it sitting down. The homemade Tzatziki sauce is the absolute best I have ever had. Not watery, not overkill garlic. Just perfection at its finest. These people are from Greece. They make the real Greek Gyro but, this is taken to the next level. Not like the other sloppy places. This place is spotlessly clean and I promise, you will go back. I am hooked.... Thank you Gyro Guys, you make the absolute best Gyro I have ever had,... ..... What are ya waiting for? Go get one......You will go back again. And for God's sake, Sit down...

Hands down the best gyro I've had in the US and we've tried them all up and down the east coast and some of the midwest. I ordered The Gyro Guy (plus gooey provolone!) and my husband ordered The Colossal. They were both amazing and the fries were great too. Ask for extra napkins though and don't try to eat and drive. This is NOT that kind of sandwich. You won't be able to stop talking about how delicious it is anyways. Slow down and enjoy it.

We figured we'd eat it en route but the smell made us open before we left the parking spot. It was so delicious we went inside to tell the employees how great it was once we finished. I can't wait to go back. You don't get gyros like this anywhere else. Portions were huge, the price was great, and everything was exquisite. Staff was friendly, location was clean, plenty of people inside. We aren't the first to find this gem but we will be bringing friends and telling...

Found this place after a Google search of sandwich shops open near us. Ordered a veggie sandwich with all the toppings on rye. Bread was perfectly toasted. Pretty sure the bread is local since it was perfect texture and flavor. All the veggies in the sandwich were fresh and crunchy. Unsure if any of the cheeses are truly vegetarian or contain animal rennet so I skipped it but the cheese options looked freshly sliced. My carnivorous travel partners had gyros with fries and said all was amazingly fresh and flavorful. I also ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade which came in a HUGE reusable plastic cup with lid and flexi straw. Lemonade was too sweet for my taste but I appreciated it was made fresh to order so I watered the remaining half down with some fizzy water later and it was perfect. Would definitely eat here again on future...
