Editing my review to reflect that the pizza was not too bad after I finished baking it in my oven for another 5-10 minutes. But that shouldn’t be my job. The fish sandwich was terrible.
I think they just need new employees.
Don’t trust the pictures on the menu. They are not accurate to what you will receive from this place. I will probably not order from the location ever again unless I am thoroughly convinced to do so. I ordered a catfish po boy with Cajun fries and a supreme pizza. The po boy should come with catfish, lettuce, tomato, bread, and the famous boom boom sauce. The sandwich came with a huge chunk of a tomato on one side and small piece of a tomato on the other side (mostly a peel). So the tomato’s are not sliced properly or even spread out on the sandwich. Next, the “famous” boom boom sauce is pretty much non existent on this sandwich. It’s like they put a drop of the sauce on each side of the bread and spread it out the best that they could. Resulting in almost zero sauce on the sandwich. French fries tasted like they were frozen crinkle fries cooked in an oven. Barely crispy on the outside and soggy cold potatoes in the middle. I assume there is a deep frier because they have fried fish and shrimp. I could be wrong. The entire pizza is undercooked, soggy, and floppy like a wet piece of bread. Crust was barely browned on the bottom. It was also supposed to have garlic butter crust which didn’t happen. I love pizza and usually have no problem eating half if not more of the pizza and I couldn’t eat this pizza in its current state. (RAW dough) I called to complain about the food and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive about my problems. There was no attempt at fixing the situation. All she did was argue and say that’s what you get. Well thanks. But that pretty much sums up my experience at this location. I can’t speak for other happy pizzas but I would say that the staff at this location is the problem and I recommend training the...
Read moreOrdered online from their website, when ordered processed I was given an error that said the transaction could not be processed. I then received a notification from my bank that the charge in fact did go through, and charged me $24.50. When I called the store to see what had occurred and to confirm if the order went through, they said they had nothing in their end and I must of ordered from a different store. On my bank statements it said store number 67 which they confirmed was their store. They then directed me to contact support on their website, which is run by a third party app developer that has no support number. I then asked if I brought my phone in and showed them that it charged me and if I could just get my pizza, they said it would be against company policy to do so and their hands were tied. I have never written a bad review of a place in my 25 years on this planet, as I think it is tacky. People have bad days and companies have bad days. I will never order from a Happy’s pizza again and will dissuade everyone who...
Read moreHad some negative experiences in the past with happys mostly at the turney location (poor-mediocre service and unepexpected excessive waits with cold food) But went to this one on new year's eve only because many other places weren't answering the phones. The service, especially for being in this area, was pretty impressive honestly. Everyone was friendly enthusiastic and empathetic. There were Greetings, goodbyes, thank you's and the open communication was good. They were checking in and setting expectations while people were waiting for their food. All the workers smiled and wished everyone a happy new year as they left with their order. It was kinda busy but there was a good flow behind the counter and everything was calm. Its been a long time since I seen that level of customer service at a place like happys and really I can't remember the last time I was that impressed with service anywhere in the last few months. Happys won be back...
