I don't usually post reviews, but the food here is so amazing that i feel the need to write one 😂 My aunt found this restaurant back in June or July, and when she did, she came home and she raved about it to my mother and me and told us we needed to try it. Eventually, we took my mom and my family here for the first time for her birthday at the end of July, even she said it was fantastic and she would be back. We have all been multiple times since July because it's so amazing. Kumo in Dalton, Ga where I live, used to be my favorite spot, but this restaurant definitely beats kumo without a chance. I'm willing to drive the twenty-five to thirty minutes to this restaurant every single time, and on top of that the restaurant is really affordable. We went last Saturday, and I paid for all of us (6 people total). 6 plates of chicken hibachi and 1 order of crab rangoons came to $66.41, not including the tip. Which in my opinion was super cheap, compared to Kumo where I usually on average pay $33 for just me when i eat there and receive fewer portions. And I must say, I’ve never been able to find crab rangoons anywhere in dalton and my first time trying here, i seen they had them on the menu and ordered them and they were absolutely AMAZING. especially with the duck sauce. 10/10. i now order the crab rangoon’s every single time i go. it is absolutely worth the cost and drive because they serve large amounts of food here to where i can save the rest of my leftovers for my next meal or 2. With that said, this restaurant is now without a doubt my favorite...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite places to eat, so since I moved out of town about 30 minutes away, I wanted to make the drive to get some food from here for my family and I. Not only did we all get FOOD POISONING, one of our plates looked like someone literally took food out of it, with a whole 1/3 of the box empty where there is usually food. Portions have always been inconsistent here. Anyways. I had to call the restaurant while in the drive thru to be served, then had to go back inside after they gave me my order because I was missing an order of veggies. Nobody ever said hi, hello, thank you, you’re welcome, whatever. Nobody has manners these days.
Back to the FOOD POISONING. This is not the first time it has happened. I figured someone was negligent and I shouldn’t let it ruin my entire love for this place. Give it some time. This is probably the 5th time I’ve had TERRIBLE food poisoning from this place. It’s my fault for going back, but I will never again. We have been throwing up sick for what is our third day of enduring this.
This place has brutally failed health inspections before and I’m finally putting two and two together. I will never be back. Hopefully this review will keep someone else from becoming violently ill from ingesting their food. We’re about to have to take a trip to the ER...
Read moreFirst time. Awkward. Seat yourself and wonder how to get attention for a menu. WAITING. See a table of 5 sit down. We get our menus. We order 2 meals and a Spring Roll. Questioned if I'm sure I just want 'one' ? WAITING. Table of 5's food arrives. Wonderment #1: Horrified, we watch server juggling 5 plates of very hot food literally stacked, in waterfall-fashion down arms: 3 on one arm and 2 on the other arm. Wonderment #2: While food is clinging/hanging from bottom of plates as they are transferred to tabletop- Question? Where have the plates been before touching the 'fresh food' ?! Wonderment #3: After watching this "better than TV" moment, we gratefully remember we have only ordered '2' plates of food, one for each arm. My 1 spring roll arrives to try. WAITING. Finally, food arrives. Table of 5 are boxing up leftovers. We ask boy clearing tables for more hot mustard packets to liven up flavorless teriyaki chicken and fried(?) rice. Table 5 leaves. WAITING. We are waiting for server to bring check. We ask for our server, who THEN tells us to pay at counter. We 'tell' cashier what we had, pay, and...
