I ordered the beef polish boy combo with fries w/ sauce with two extra wings with sauce. My total was between 13 and $14. I had a $50 bill nowhere on the sign is it says they do not take 50s AND I had to tell the lady three times what I want it with her rude self. I went and got changed because I really want it, a Polish boy and her wings; mind you, most people paid with cash, but she proceeded to tell me she could not break a $50 bill. I had not been to Cleveland since 2015 and I was extremely excited to get to Kim’s. I went to the one on Lakeshore; I have no complaints about the food at all. However, the lady at the window is very, very, very, very rude, very rude. I have a day trip that I was planning to do right before Christmas with my friends and Kim‘s was on the list so they could experience a Polish boy and her wings with Sauce. Now I’m not sure I want to subject them to such customer service especially after six hours north. I would not feel the way I feel if she had treated everyone the same way however, those she knew got better service nor were they rushed. I will always, I think, get Kim’s wings before I leave out of the city, but, the rudeness reviews give the establishment...
Read moreI honestly do not understand the hype! Everyone talks up these wings. I went to the website and it states that there are two types of wings. Kims special wings or Kims BBQ wings. I tried to order the special wings but the lady could not hear me throught the bullet proof glass. I tried to show her my phone and their website photos that show kims special wings or bbq. I tried to order the special wings and she shouted......"YOU WANT SUACE OR NOT?" So I said yes to sauce. I waited for about 20 minutes for my wings but was well entertained waiting. Two gentelmen came into the lobby and proceeded to empty their pant legs of deodorant they stole from the store up the street. They shouted 3 for $10 and the customers started buying them up. I was surprised to see the staff running out from the kitchen to get the coconut dove body spray they requested. When I finally got my wings I didnt notice any marinade in them as the website stated. Nor did I notice any crispy skin that leads to juicy chicken as was promised. What I got was lightly breaded, overly sauced smallish and soggy wings. I honestly dont know how this place is so hyped. But I must say, acquiring these wings was quite...
Read moreMy husband purchased a slab of ribs from Kim's, we received 7 large bones which should have been Chopped up and sold as rib tips. The other 5 bones were so small, we thought that they were Rib tips. The chicken wings were soggy with grease and cold. I am so disappointed because I used to buy my BBQ from B&M barbecue. Neither of these establishments should sell food. TERRIBLE!!! I will have to find somewhere else to buy my ribs or just start cooking my own ribs again. I wish I could give Kim's a big fat Zero for such bad batches of meat, and what makes this so bad is, We bought ribs from them twice in two weeks. NEVER AGAIN!!! Their sauce is alright, they just don't give enough of it to cover up the nasty meat flavor. I believe they baked the ribs I received the last time, no smoked flavor at all. I gave an expensive meal to the neighborhood alley cat. The...
